Anybody have pictures on an H3 with the GOBI H3 Standard Rack and ladder, looking for close up's of how ladder attaches and full pics all sides of H3 with rack rack. I gotta see this before I spend that kinda $$.

Bet my welding and finish work is better than a mass produced Gobi. Don't get me wrong, it's a good product. I just firmly believe that it's overpriced. Market will bear I guess and not everyone has the facility to do good custom work. I'll take pictures, even macros, when I'm done.

I can tell you that the GOBI rack is "rated" for what the factroy tracks can hold. However, you can have 8 people up there on that thing and it will not even flex.
You have to be careful with a tom of wieght up there when cornering/ hitting the brakes/ and esp. off roading on sideslopes.
You won't have to worry about bending the rack!
The stealth rack is 88 lbs with the sunroof opening. You can find out all the specs here

Jeff, here are a couple of clearance heights for you. feel free to PM me with any questions.
Stealth rack is at 6'7"
Full Size Rack is at 6' 11"
Are you 100% sure that is the height of your garage door? That is really low. A stealth rack would be an inch too tall. A standard height garage door today is between 82" and 84" depending on trim. Let me know if you have more questions,
Tim.

Thanks Tim. The garage door frame is about 80-82", but the problem is the door doesn't seem to open as far as it could. I was hoping to not have to deal with that issue, but sounds like I should see if I can get a couple more inches out of it. I'm sure if I had the opener professionally installed instead of doing it myself, all would be well. :-) </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Jeff, there should be an adjustment screw on the side of the opener to adjust the door travel. Get on a ladder and check it out. Ours was behind the light cover.

If nobody bought them price would drop. I would like to get one without the sunroof opening that just covers the back.
