I can press and hold the switch for forward or backward motion and my seat only moves for about a half second then stops. I can press the switch again and the same thing happens. I can eventually get the full length of travel, but only after a lot of button presses.
The memory settings (for Fwd & Bkwd) do the same thing. I have to keep pressing the mem button to eventually get the seat to the correct position. Pretty weird, since the up or down, and the tilt, all move as much as needed to get to whichever mem position, but the Fwd and Bkwd, do this "half sec" and quit.
It's a good thing that I'm the only one who drives the H2 (my wife hasn't desired to, yet). So I don't really need the Frd & Bkwd that much. But if it is a quick fix...
Any ideas?

I took the H2 over to the dealer last week and they figured out that a "Driver Seat Adjuster Assy. #88941225" was bad. So it had to be ordered.
The part came in and I took it over to service center again and they put the new part in. All under warranty. $0.
All is fine now.

Check under FAQ Service bulletin # 9:
"Remove the SEAT circuit breaker in the instrument panel relay block located under the left side of the instrument panel next to the parking brake. This circuit breaker also supplies power to the passenger seat. Verify that the circuit breaker is not open. If it is not open, wait 30 seconds and then reinstall the circuit breaker. Try to move the seat again."
This solved my problem when the drivers seat wouldn't budge at all. Good luck! JCJ
