2 little things today.

1- I went to the Honda dealer across the street from Hummer dealer today, to help an out-of-town friend’s young daughter sell her Honda. The 1st street space by the intersection was available, but a split second decision I drove into the lot and parked at the entrance. Minutes later as we were talking to the dealer by the door, an accident happened at the intersection, I saw the whole thing but I will spare you the details and how a guy on bicycle missed it by an inch. but if I’ve parked on the street, one of cars in the accident would be lodged in my Hummer rear left side.

2- I heard on the news today that a black man was shot to death at Silver gas station, 7 bullets. I was at that station yesterday getting cheap gas. A bad neighborhood but cheapest gas and the station is right next to the freeway off ramp on my way.

Steve, it is time to give your wife the old Dutch Oven. She will be used to your farts after that.

so what is the deal with this big house? How long has it been around? I never understood why anybody would need a 100 room house. What would you possibly need all that space for? I guess if you have an inadequacy problem and had to compensate by making yourself look like you have arrived as hard as possible. Why not a nice 50 room house? Hell what about 25 rooms, even the biggest Mormon family wouldn't fill that...

The Eagle station in the photo and the Silver station(SF) in my top story are not the same station. Silver ave & San Bruno street in SF, you stand there and you'll know it is not good. Work on the 100+ rooms Ralston Mansion continues on, year after year. The lady who bought it wants to give it to the City of Hillsborough, they don't want it. Reminds me of that Tom Hank movie Money Pit.

Okay, so I expect fart stuff from Steve, and with much chagrin, we were all treated to MAC's "fartiquette" stories a few months back, but now, YOU TOO, Z? Oy. This is really in the TMI category. I don't know if I can hang out with you any more.

Steve,

If your wife can't take your farts, you better see a doctor about removing that dead gerbil up your ass.

HAHAHAHA!!!! I love gas stories!!!
My favorite is to go into a store, stand in a major thoroughfare, drop a WMD and walk away to a safe distance to watch some unsuspecting sap walk into the cloud of foulness.
Mac,
Back in '95 I looked at that place with my boss. He was interested in buying it, but there was too much water damage in the upper floors. Some kids had gotten up on the roof and taken the roof tiles off to throw and had left huge holes that the winter rains had poured into for years. Plus all of the electric wiring was ancient, all of the lead water pipes needed to be replaced. Back then we had estimated it would take a minimum of $3-5mil to renovate. Plus you can't change the appearance of the exterior since it's a historical building.
Plus, some security guard had murdered some girl in there years ago.

That basically happened to me once. I said "you would not believe this guy who just got off on 27!" (I knew her boyfriend works on the 27th floor). I don't think she bought it though.

Z, Imagine you just did it in the elevator, as you were enjoying that sensation, the door opens up and your dream lover, the trophy woman, the girl you couldn't get, smiles at you and walks in. It will be just you and her and the gas.

Right on, that was in Burlingame, Howard and California. Hummer on one side, Honda the other, plus dozens of other dealers, streets are smaller than the new suburbs or LA. That Eagle gas station has cheap gas, I used to avoid stations like that, but Hummer dealer filled up the full tank for all new Hummers there, heck, if it is good enough for the Hummer dealer, it is good enough for me.

I knew a guy in my lodge who studies the chaos theory, the guy has 3 PhDs, Harvard, MIT and something else, he may have IQ as high as our Hummer Man's 180 or more. Worst dresser and total loser in career, business and personal relationship, every exchange is very uncomfortable for him and everyone else. Am I glad I am stupid.

That's not a "bad" neighborhood.
How's that mega-house up on Ralston coming along? Have they approved a new zip code for it yet? How's the renovation coming along on the huge old mansion up further from it?

Is gas Hummmer related? Frank the gasman owns a Hummer, so gas is Hummer related.
What kind of man go to bathroom to fart? what kind of wife and what is love if she can't even handle some gas from her true love? One place you do not do it is in the airplane, you are doomed to suffer the consequence of your own action, and too easy to pick out the culprit.

I read a TIME story years ago about Pres. GHW Bush(Sr), saying he is such a super nice and polite gentleman, he is the type of guy who would never pee in the club/gym shower nor in the pool. I've done neither, especially not in my own pool, but the thought worries me when I see bunch of teenagers in my pool.

We were leaving today for ski, but not enough snow up there. Staying home this weekend which starts today, good, I got tons of paperwork to do.

It goes without saying one does not fart on first few dates, but the sign of true love is when you can fire at will in front of your opposite sex partner, or in some cases whatever sex partner. In the Army, them those boys fire at will without restrain, all the time, don‘t know why and what we ate, but 24/7.

Argo, the logic of 100+ rooms mansion is same as Hummer. A Hummer is a lot of hard earned money for you and me the average folks, we earned it, we like it, we want it and we buy it. To the people who build or own mansions, the cost of the mansion is but a few days’ interest income, I am not one of those and nowhere close to it, but there are many people in that position. It is to the benefit of the society at large and everyone when people spend their money on a CD player, a Hummer or a mansion. A Mansion requires 100s of workers, $ millions in materials and labor, and it will always be there; otherwise money is just numbers and zeros. Provided if you can handle it, you make your money last your lifetime and provide for your love ones, money is only good when you spend it and enjoy it.

I am an average guy without a mansion, but I can see the roof of that mansion Drtyfn talked about from my deck, on the left side of this photo.

Right on MAC.....way to cheat death!!!!

I know exactly what you mean and can totally empathize with you! Check out this true AND amazing story:

Not long ago I was sitting in my office and felt the pressure of some gas building in my lower intestinal tract. Well....I was all set to just pitch a bit sideway and cut loose some flatulent discharge fury......when all of a sudden I could hear my wife coming towards the office. Needless to say I straightened-out and kept my business to myself.

So get this...she comes in and sits down on a chair and starts reading...she ain't going nowhere! Deep withing my bowels wave after wave of pressure build until I decide to mobilize my laziness up and hit the bathroom. When I hit the bathroom I came to discover I had some kind of nasty bug and was not really absorbing much liquids into my intestinal tract. I was loose as a goose!

Like...oh my God...had I gone for the gasser in my office...I would surely have juiced my seat!!!!!!!!!

Had my wife not come along just when she did.....just imagine the consequences!!!

So, in a matter of speaking...I suppose you can say I don't give a **** about your little story. Give me a few days and perhaps I'll have stiffened my resolve.
