Bin Laden and Zarqawi Hold Worldwide Candlelight Vigil for Cindy Sheehan
WORLDWIDE --- Osama bin Laden and al Zarqawi announced in a joint press conference today that they will launch a worldwide candlelight vigil in support of Cindy Sheehan. After the vigil, OBL and Zarqawi will behead 100 infidels in her honor and hold a worldwide day for female repression and abuse.
"We support Miss Sheehan 100%," said an al Qaeda spokesperson. "She has done more for our cause than we have been able to do for the past several months thanks to American soldiers chasing us around the world. We would encourage Cindy to blow herself up at Bush's home in Crawford in a sign of solidarity with her al Qaeda brothers. She will be rewarded by being reborn a virgin in paradise and belong to one of the many suicide bombers who have gone before her. We are anxious to slaughter more infidels in her honor in thanks for her support."
Most of Cindy's supporters were excited to hear about the news from al Qaeda, except that many of the followers were concerned that such a massive candlelight vigil would cause too much damage to the environment. They suggested merely flashing the "peace" sign instead.
"This is very exciting to see," said on al Qaeda terrorist who managed to sneak across the porous US border to protest alongside Cindy in Crawford. "Miss Cindy talks about how America is not worth dying for, and how America murders people around the world, and how America is a shameful place. These are all of the things we want to say, but she actually gets the support of major Democrat politicians who claim to really be patriots. I could not be more proud at this very moment. The Democrats hate Bush so much that they will actually support an America hater just to try and make him look bad."

Waco Families Gather at Clinton Home to Ask for Meeting
CHAPPAQUA, New York --- Grief-stricken families of those incinerated at the Waco compound during the Clinton Administration set up camp outside of Clinton's house demanding he meet with them to explain why it happened.
"We got the idea from that woman with the funny hat at Bush's ranch," said one of the family members. "We never got an explanation from Clinton about what happened that day, and he owes us one. We're going to stand outside the Clinton mansion with our burning candles until he sits down and lets us yell, scream and berate him. Bush already met once with that Sheehan lady, and we didn't get a single meeting with Clinton."
Where is it going to end!

I loathe those who ascribe alterior motives for the US when it gets involved fighting oversees for "what is right." Colin Powell was confronted at an embassy dinner a few years back, accused of fighting a "war for oil." He'd had enough of this talk and answered, "America has fought oversees in so many situations for so many just causes that people should know by now that we do it because we believe in freedom. We have strived to liberate oppressed people all over the world. And the only thing we have ever asked for in return is enough ground to bury our dead."
God, I love this country. Can you imagine being a Frenchman?

quote:

Iraq war protester says to shift focus to Congress
By Jeremy Pelofsky
CRAWFORD, Texas (Reuters) - Iraq war protester Cindy Sheehan, whose vigil near President George W. Bush's Texas ranch has become a symbol for the anti-war movement, said on Friday she plans to focus on Congress, starting with House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, a Bush ally and fellow Texan.
Sheehan has been demanding a meeting with Bush to discuss the U.S. presence in Iraq, where her son was killed in 2004. LIEBERAL-BACKED ATTENTION WHORE!!!
She plans to begin a bus tour next Thursday from Bush's ranch to the White House to campaign for the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq.
One of DeLay's Texas district offices would likely be the first stop, she said. That is about a 5.5 hour drive from Bush's ranch in Crawford, where he is on a month-long vacation.
"I think our first stop might be Tom DeLay's office," she said, surrounded by supporters. "I just wanted to let him know so he'll be in his office when we get there." LIEBERAL-BACKED ATTENTION WHORE!!!
"The president is not going to meet with us, probably," Sheehan said. "We the people need to influence our congressional representatives and I hear he's pretty close by," referring to DeLay.
A spokeswoman for DeLay said his schedule was already set and did not plan to change it to meet with Sheehan.
"Mr. DeLay disagrees with those who believe we should give the terrorists the timeline they want and simply cut and run from the war in Iraq," said DeLay spokeswoman Shannon Flaherty.
Sheehan met once with Bush after her son, Casey, was killed but has sought a second meeting to ask Bush to explain why he believes the 24-year-old Army specialist died for a "noble cause." LIEBERAL-BACKED ATTENTION WHORE!!!
Almost 1,900 U.S. troops have been killed in the conflict.
Bush has said he sympathizes with Sheehan as well as the families of all the soldiers who have died. But he has staunchly defended his actions in Iraq and has said leaving now would lead to greater dangers for the United States and Iraq.
A Gallup poll released on Friday showed Bush's job approval rating among Americans had slipped to the lowest point of his administration, with 40 percent of the poll's 1,007 adult respondents, supporting his performance and 56 percent disapproving.
Bush's previous low point was 44 percent, one month ago.
The latest survey, conducted this week, noted a drop in support among independents and confirmed the findings of other recent polls, which showed Bush's approval rating even lower.
Compared to other post-World War II presidents at this point in their second term, only Richard Nixon had a lower job approval rating and he was in the midst of the Watergate scandal, Gallup said. The others were all above 50 percent.

I'm not really going to attack but I would like to quote something I heard along time ago that expresses our opinion perfectly:
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriot being which feels nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing that he is willing to fight for, nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself"
Cindy Sheehan's son was one such better man.

Who knows what's going on in her head.
As a parent, I couldn't begin to guess what my mental state and thought process would be if something happened to my kids.
I think she just needs to see a shrink or grief counsellor. A really good one.

She's a bitch and so are all the other's involved in helping her out.
This is better:
http://sacunion.com/pages/sacramento/articles/5895

quote:

Yet another angle to the story erupted Friday when members of the Sheehan Family announced their support for President Bush. In a letter written by Cherie Quartarolo, Casey Sheehan’s aunt and godmother, the family expressed their concerns over Cindy Sheehan’s Crawford protest.
The letter reads:
“The Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the expense of her son’s good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and respect.”
The letter is attributed to “Casey Sheehan’s grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.”
