Yea driving in swamps exceeds the Hummer criteria for going through 20 inches of water.

What?! When did the Everglades become swamp land?!

I believe it was Bear Island Unit of Big Cypress that said it allowed 4x4'ing, street legal 4x4s too. Saw a picture of an suv doing something there...

If all else fails, I'll just load my H3 on a fan boat and do some crazy offroading.

I believe there are a lot of trails in Big Cypress for the H3.

"Due to low water levels Zone 4 of the Stairsteps Unit within Big Cypress National Preserve will be closed, until further notice, for airboat travel effective 12:01 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2006." Oh it's the airboat use that is restricted. But Big Cypress National Preserve does sound like a good place to take the H3.

If it doesn't start soon it is going to be fire season here just like back in '98 or '99, whenever that was.
