This never bothered me until I read about it here, and now every time I get in the H3 with my hunting boots I try to be exra careful. I'm thinking of using a metal saw to cut part of the brake pedal to the size of an old car restoration rubber pad that I can slip over the pedal. I'm thinking of ordering a 69 Camaro manual tranny brake pedal pad and cutting the H3 brake pedal to that size for a good fit and finished look(I remember these pads being very small). Pictures to follow when I get the pad installed.

I posted about this months ago. HummerJim,,I did take a hacksaw to my brake pedal. Sounds kinda crazy but I have size 18 clod hoppers. I could not work my ole foot on both without catching the brake pedal. So I hacked off the right side of the pedal (maybe a 1/4 inch ) Between the rubber pad missing and the loss of part of the pedal everything is GOOD. Really didnt want to hack on my new H3 but I had to do something. My buddies were wiggin when I started sawing. I still get a good chuckle when I think about it. The stock rubber pad will never fit again but I really dont care much anymore.. So yes there is a fix....LOL
