Where Did You Vacation This Summer?
We just got from a couple weeks on the Oregon Coast. My secretary has a beach house just 15 minutes north of Newport, Or. The kids had a blast and I even took my mom & dad crabbing. We live in a beatiful country and I am thankful every day for it and the people that defend it!

Lets see. I live in Hawaii so my vacation must have been when work sent me to spend a couple of weeks in Manila, then Bangkok and then Seoul.

1 week at Disneyland, 1 week at Cayucos for the 4th of July, 1 week at Shaver Lake, 1 week at Lake Tahoe and a few mini trips to, Hearst Castle, Winchester Mystery House, Ghey Bey.  |

I spent the summer in my Hummer.
Went to South Bend, Indiana for Hummer Homecoming; on to Paragon Adventure Park to wheel with a couple of Elcova friends; on to Hershey Pennsylvania for the kids; on to Virginia Beach for ten too many beers and a great visit with Ken and CP; then across 3011 miles to my house in Boring, Oregon, after a short visit in Denver to see the Colorado Gang.
Spent 3 weeks at home then went to Idaho for a short stay with the family and even snuck down to Moab for a couple of days. Ended my summer with a visit from Adam and his family over Labor Day.
What a memorable summer! This country Rocks!

Nice view from a Bellagio suite! We were in LV in July, same time as you. Just got back last week from another 10 days there. It hit 112 one day .. went to Mt. Charleston to cool off.

One week at the Hotel del during fourth of July. Standing vacation every year. Most patriotic place to spend the fourth, plus the in-laws live on the island. |
