That was the first thing i changed on mine. I mounted it below the tire carier on the PSSD. I than when to Autozone and bout a trailer lights. this mounts on the tire carier itself and only took about about 30 minutes.
SIDE NOTE: I ran this this truck on some tough trails in Moab and never bent the license plate either.
