Arizona Hummerboy-

I have been "conceptualizing" on a over the hood brushguard like the one shown. The problem I keep running into is "that any top impact and that thing will go straight into the hood and dent it" without some type of support.

You can get around this issue if you were to attach the brushguard to the hood handles however, the problem with this is that I don't know if that area would be able to withstand a high front/top impact or if the area would just cave in.

If this area wouldn't support this then you need to figure out a way to reinforce the hood handles and hood vent area that would then allow you to "lock" the top of the brushguard to the hood handles yet still support an impact without just caving in.

I plan on designing something here in the next several months barring a regional move I might have to make as a result of my current employment situation.
