Broken Tierod Q

If you are wheelin by yourself in the woods, and you snap a tierod, does it still make a noise?

I know if you record it and post it, it does.

I was at a jobsite today with the H2 and a couple of electricians came over to check it out the rig.

The first thing out of the one guys mouth. ...and I quote:

" Don't the front end on these things break easily if you go offroad?"
"I saw a video of that, the guy was even going over anything that diffcult."

My answer with a straight face: That only happens to the pewter ones!

He didn't quite know what to say about that comment.
