Default Calling Kodiakz... need suggestion.

I've got an Eclipse 2495 unit in my H2. It's been in there less than a year. I bought it off a company off ebay. (supposedly factory authorized) I now find out that if it were factory authorized, they are couldn't sell on ebay.

Anyway, my problem is on hot days, the unit starts flipping from one source to another. On/off/VTR/camera/FM..blah, blah, blah.

It may power on, it may power off... at first I thought it was a loose connection or something to do with the steering interface but when we disconnected the interface and was sitting still, it'll do it intermittently. The only correlation is it does it when the temps outside get hot.

I stopped at the local eclipse dealer and they told me that it wouldn't be covered under warranty and if I send it in for repair, it would take 6-8 weeks.

Have you heard of this problem?

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your time,

Mark
