the trouble i was having is when you would switch to xm it would get confused and switch between xm1, xm2, and xm3
for about 30 seconds then it would stop at random on xm1 or 2 and not always on a programmed preset. replaced connectors last night and it works fine now, never would have thought that would fix the problem but so far so good.
thanks for the input, also wish i was in Utah, plan on going to moab in '07
