The ice pack is good and keeping the eye closed helps as you've probably found out.
Fortunately the eye is an organ that heals itself fairly rapidly so you should be feeling better tomorrow and see a big improvement in a couple of days.
Just my prognosis. I'm not a doctor but I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night....
