I opted for the RR rails. Even with only 3 attachment points they are quite sturdy to the frame and seem very strong.

An added bonus for me is that, though a bit tricky, they can be used as an assist step as well (they are higher than a typical step or bar and angled slightly up.)

If you were considering purchasing the GM rails and assist steps, you would save a decent amount of $$ going with the RR rails if you can live with the unconventional step.

This was a factor in my choice because the bride prefers a step and I was not looking foward to removing the GM assist steps every time I went offroad.
