Heater Core (Oh Sh^t)

lvs, the blow by blow on the install was very helpful. I've handled most of the service on this vehicle myself up until this point but this sounds like something that I may not want to get into.

Is there anything unique about this repair that makes it different from a run-of-the-mill heater core replacement on a diesel truck? If not, I may explore the local shop option.

Does anyone have a good cross reference number for the heater core itself?
