Short story originally they were powdercoated now they are painted a matte black with a matte clearcoat. Love the matte finish easy to keep clean!

Now the rest of the story, kinda long ...Purchased the set from a fellow on Ebay. They were originally powdercoated black. UPS beat the SH&%$T out of them, put a dent in one and 2 of the other 3 were out of round (most likely from being dropped from a considerable height based on the shape of the boxes). They were double boxed 2 per box and bubble wrap between inner and outer boxes. Then completely wrapped in shrink wrap....still the boxes were damaged and one wheel visible from the outside unopened!! They were left at my front door this way.

After 6 weeks of picture taking, working with a local wheel repair shop (Wheel Fix It, great place to work with) and $650 later, I have a pristine set of wheels, they repaired the three and brought them to better than factory specs and suggested paint (lifetime guarantee) rather than powdercoat mainly due to expense, powder coating would have been $100/wheel and I would still have to paint the center caps. So paint was $140 total for all 4 including caps and they all match perfectly, $450 to repair all 3 and $60 for mount and balance (included swapping tires from original set of wheels). These guys only put weights on the inside and this is the smoothest set of truck tires I have ever been on, have had the H2 up to 95 mph and smooth as glass all the way. Now I did get a refund from the seller for the original cost, so basically got a "new" set of wheels w/tires mounted for $650...so I will not complain....too much But UPS is under a boycott from me for a while (oh yeh, they damaged my rear tire carrier too and delivered my tire cover to another house completely, not even close to the same street...all in the same week!) I know, I know but now you know the rest of the story...
