Exclamation Buyers Beware!!!!

Well I have been trying to stay quiet about this situation but because I keep getting screwed I wanted to let everyone know about Blair Outlan, AKA: HMSLR, AKA: USEDH1.com

About 5 months ago I decided to switch insurance companies. When I called for the estimate they ran all of my vehicles Vin numbers. The lady told me that they were not able to insure my 2001 HMC4 because it had a Canadian ?Junk Title?. As you could imagine I was in shock. I had just purchased this H1 in January from Blair Outlan, the ?H1 Guru?. So I called Blair immediately and he responded with ?Hmm, they said that wouldn?t be on the title?. He then told me a story of how the previous owner had fried an amplifier with water and tried to use the insurance company to replace it. Supposedly the insurance company just decided to total the entire vehicle because of the mention of water. Blair told me that any cars up in Canada with even the mention of water damage were automatically considered ?totaled?.

After a few days of calling Blair, I finally got an answer. He told me to take it up with the dealership that did the paperwork on the sale because they have insurance for this. He told me he has already explained everything to them. Because Blair does not have a dealer?s license, he has the licensed dealerships do his paperwork so it?s legal. When I called the dealership they were extremely rude and told me that they don?t do business with Blair anymore. They first told me that Blair had not called and that they have nothing to do with this and to take it up with Blair. So I called Blair back and he told me that the dealership was lying. So we went back and forth via email for about a week or two. During this time Blair informed me that the truck used to have a clean CarFax when he purchased it but to this day has been unable to locate that ?clean? CarFax. Blair told me how broke he is and that he can?t afford to buy the truck back so I came up with another option. I told him I would trade the 01 HMCO for a 00 HMCS he had. Here was the deal - I get to keep my wheels and tires and he had to give me $4k. Here is what I had already done on the HMCO and that I was going to be nice enough to eat - a lift Pump, fuel shutoff solenoid, Robert Shaw 180 T Stats, PPI amp, Alpine amp, headrest monitors, alignment, ALL fluids changed, HVAC motor, driver side arm rest, window switch, and hours upon hours of cleaning. The 00 HMCS had 69k miles while the 01 only had 46k. The wagon was in no were near the same condition of the HMCO plus it has a broken exhaust manifold , bad glow plugs, the PMD went out within 1 week, the radiator was all water (rusty) with no coolant, the mirrors fold in while you drive, and the list goes on. I have already spent nearly 2k on this one.
Then I drove to Memphis to make the exchange and told him I would take a check for 2k and 2k in parts. I was able to find $800 worth of parts in his garage and then he was supposed to order me new mirrors (the new style) and new leather seat covers from Lynch for the other $1200. It has been nearly 3 months and still no parts. He is difficult to get in touch with and when he does respond he just beats around the bush and sends rude emails (see below).

Here is the last email I received from Blair at 12:31 this morning:

Alright Brandon, keep on, get pushy with me. See what that nets you. I just got back from vacation on Thursday and my "vacation" involved quite a bit of work, not just play. Anyway, I have your list and I'll see what I can get you. Every month I get in trucks with stuff on them, I get some good "take offs" on your list.
I bought the truck back and gave you 2k back, what other dealer on the planet would do that? If you think I'm going to give you $1200 before my bills get paid you're dead wrong. Get snippy with me, go ahead. I think any court in America would think what I did was way beyond restitution. Change your tone with me. I wont stand for it. Drag my name through the mud, I've sold so many H1s with good standing, I do the right thing. I didn't even argue with you about terms. I see your emails and I know you can tell if I read them, do you want me to stop reading them?

Blair,
I?m still waiting for a response from the last email about the additional parts. I am really trying to be nice about everything but you never seem to let me know what?s going on and then I have to keep emailing you. I need a status on the parts you owe me or need a check or PayPal payment for $1,200 as soon as possible. It seems like all you have been doing since the start of this entire situation is making every excuse possible. We are going on three months now. The only thing I have been asking is that you let me know what?s going on and you can?t even seem to do that. Please respond to this email ASAP.
Thanks,
Brandon
