Well, they weren't very happy. Our 6 yo cried and our 3 yo told that Cesar was now in heaven playing with Jules (the other dog that died a couple of months ago).
They both grew up with those huge dogs and were best friends.
Good thing for them we still have the little chihuahua, which they also love.
If it weren't for that one, we'd get another puppy immediately.
