Default Re: 4^Lock Stuck

If you are in 4H the dif locker should not be on or engage, if you are stuck on the middle of the 4x4 control buttons then your power has been split 50/50 front and back and it will feel tighter.

If you can't select the left hand button to put it into 4H on road which gives you 40/60 split then your button is stuck.

I've had this happen, take out the cigarette lighter and give the whole dash a good pull from the bottom, it will release upwards.

You have to disconnect all the plugs on the back and then you will see a module behind all the buttons, take that off, take apart and clean every slider for the buttons with a small paint brush, I've had to do this a couple of times with sand coming into the cabin, the air vents are right above the buttons and the grove's which the buttons slid in and out don't need much to clog them.

Hope that helps!
