Default 2003 Hummer questions

First, I always see stuff about the brakes for the 2003 being different then the later years, what about them, how is the feel different?

Second and biggest question, on the H2 adventure the rear stabilizer bar is 32mm, where as the normal is 30mm

Can someone explain how the stabilizer bar works and what these numbers measure.

And tell me if I were to change the air suspension over to shocks if I would have to change the stabilizer bar or what effect it would have being used on coils rather then air?

Third, What the best/safest way to remove and airbag, The H2 I'm looking at has part leather then part interior colored trim on the steering wheel, and I would rather have the straight up leather version, I know removing the airbag entails putting pins into the holes on the sides of the steering wheel and theres most likely a quick disconnect, but I'm kinda afraid of it blowing up on me, or if I instal it wrongly and down the road it randomely opens up to me in the middle of driving.
