I have 8 cars. 3 of them classic (1954, 1961 and 1980) I can do work on cars myself. I have yet to get my HUMMER back from the undercoater to even try a jack on the vehicle (I also have only had the truck at my home for 24hrs before it went to the shop). It was a simple question as to if anyone uses a similar jack. I appreciate your genuine concern, but if I had the vehicle I wouldn't ask the question. I want to get the vehicle back, change the wheels and get it to the dealer for warranty work all in about 1.5 hrs time. This was an attempt to be prepared.

How much play the STOCK suspension has Directly relates to if this car can be jacked up using my jack. Something I would not know if I didn't have the car HERE. (VOL)

Thanks to those of you who treat new comers with respect and curtesy one would expect from a fellow human being. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ACT BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE: Take time to learn from other forums who actually care.

I only hope that driving a HUMMER doesn't make me treat others as some of you do.
