Hey! I resemble that remark.

Yeah, the expensive part of that ride was that rear corner. Doors were cheap to fix....

Det. ,, I'm getting ready to add a Gobi rack ... trying to decide whether to go with the 2" mounting brackets or the 4". Your rear shots on page one of this topic post did not load. There is only one partial rear shot on page two that loaded. Do you have any more complete full rear shots of your truck with a good view of your truck and Gobi rack. Much appreciated !!

Looks good. I like that the gray went away. Time for tires and its complete. Honestly, these things are never complete but your damn close.

Do you have Barnwell plans any time soon?

"Looks good",
it looks like you covered over the powder coating with sprayed on bed liner.
Is that better than paint?

It's not horrible but I think black would be better. Also, what's up with the clamps? It looks like you are getting ready to weld or something. I don't care for those at all. It's not a bad looking guard.

Det, that looks nice!
Did you have any problems with the TL guards and the Gobi ladder touching?

There is a latch on both sides. Even with both latches open, the brushguard is not dead weight, you still have to pull it down.

I think you mount an LED Brake light behind it to light up the graphics when you stop.

I looked into having it powder coated again, but the fact is that powder coating rubs off very easy on the rocks, and you end up having to spray paint over the gashes, which rarely matches.

It looks OK, at first glance.

If this stuff rubs off, I can touch it up with the same stuff I used to coat it with in the first place.

I still have stock tires, because the MT/R's I had are worn down to nothing.

I may get new tires someday, but for now I'm happy with the stock tires.

Det can't hear you. He's gone bye-bye. And so has his H2. Last we heard he had swapped off his RA bumpers for something else.

Why has he gone BYe-BYe? Did your S&B Boss kick him off the sight? Did he swap out his RA for the production version of the "Super Duper" bumper you were developing?

You're statement doesn't make much sense since I'm the "boss" of that non-existing society.

Since your reading comprehension is so low I'll help you out a little bit(ok, a lot).
When I said that "He's gone bye-bye" that meant that he's no longer on this site. I thought that was pretty simple, but maybe it flew right over your flat head. In the very next sentence when I said "And so has his H2" that was supposed to allude to the fact that Det has sold his H2.

I know you're getting pissy because you think I'm "dissing" your RA bumper, but if you read very carefully you'll see that all I did was say that "he swapped off his RA bumpers for something else". I didn't call anything a POS or laugh about how fugly they are(IMO). I simply stated the facts without any personal opinion.
Now if you've got some sand in your panties and it's chafing your vagina I suggest you go wash it off, rub some soothing aloe vera on it and calm down.

If you're missing Det so much I can post some links to some non-Hummer forums that he belongs to. He's still an anti-social grumpy ****er. Kind of makes me feel less special that he's like that with everybody. I thought I was the only one that could rile him up.

... R2, just in case you don't get the rolling eyes that means I think this is really really lame.

Those side guards are going to be very helpful in heavily wooded areas. I have similar dents on my truck that could have been obverted with the guards.

I truly look forward to testing them out.
