SO it you fill up 27 gallons at the common reg price of 1.85 (NC price) you pay on average $50 to fill up

Paragon, I went out to check the gap specks for you when I noticed my glow plug wires were loose and my vacuum pump hose was split . Sorry for the delay I think its 1/2 inch unless you have done the update on the flux capacitor.

Consider this thread offically hi-jacked. ARRRRRRRRRRR YE MATTIES

Crystal,

I think what people are trying to say is that maybe your question could have been worded differently. By asking how much it costs to fill up, you negate several variables - the gas prices where we live ($2.20 on the west coast, $1.65 here in San Antonio - makes a HUGE difference), the MPG we typically get (a stock truck will get much better fuel economy than a lifted rig with a Gobi rack), and at which point we fill up our tanks (some fill at half empty, I never let mine got past 1/8th of a tank, others let their trucks run nearly bone dry). See my point? What costs one H2 owner $70 to fill up may cost a different owner $30 to fill up. No matter who answers your question, none of the numbers mean anything because of the different circumstances.

If you truly want to know what to expect, then ask what kind of MPG people are getting and what mods they have on their vehicles. That way you can judge how much of a "padding" you'd leave in your tank before re-fueling and calculate what it would cost YOU to fill up based on your local gas prices and any mods you might make to your vehicle.

Phil, it's Sunday afternoon. GO EASY ON THE JUICE!!

I mean, how can you forget to calculate the effect of the anti-matter sub-particle primer under the nano micorus Chromium Madeupicide layer? That's just Basic Singular quantum physics 101!

Guys sounds like this young lady has a little tiger in her. I'm not sharp enough to trade quips but somebody may get scratched up a little. Could be the kind that can hang in here like a few of the other ladies on here. If so and can resolve first impressions may be an asset?

Cmax. . .The H2, even used, is an expensive vehicle to purchase and an expensive vehicle to operate. While I suppose there is nothing wrong with checking out things like MPG, if that and the price of gas will determine whethere or not you can AFFORD an H2, then you probably can't.

And again, there's nothing wrong with that. . .I couldn't reasonably afford an H1, which is why I bought an H2 (among other reasons like comfort, etc). Perhaps waiting util the H3 is available might, indeed, be the right move for you. Especially with the price of gas heading up.

You ask the Hummer salesman, "Is the Winter Garden nice at this time of year?"

If correctly trained, he will reply, "No, but the tulips are nice in the Spring."

If he gives the correct response, you finish with, "Rudolph says coal dust is the secret".

At which point you will be taken to a non public secure area and shown the H2 DuraMax.

Damn, now every one knows and I'll lose my license to... </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I have a sneaking suspicion that there was a Blumpkin involved.
