NJ H2 has a little shameless behaviour in the past

Goldcoast Cadillac Hummer in Ocean Twp. NJ. They seem to be a very good dealership. No Preasure, they claim they never sell for higher than sticker and offered me an 03 for a few thousand off sticker. I was recomended by a freind and I would recomend them with the little dealings I have had so far. I spoke with George in Hummer Sales.

Funny, but I thought, (and had HUMMER confirm) that production will not begin until August 18th, with delivery to dealerships in September to October.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR> Dear ** ********,

Thank you for contacting HUMMER Marketing Support and your interest in the 2004 HUMMER H2! The 2004 model year will begin production on or around August 18th of this year, and should be available at your local HUMMER dealership in mid-fall.

HUMMER will offer two new options for the 2004 model H2. There will be an option for "Rubber Mudder" floor mats for the base and Luxury series H2 vehicles, with these floor mats being included with the Adventure series vehicles. Also, HUMMER is planing to offer an available DVD based navigation system in all series of H2 vehicles. These two changes represent the only two changes from the 2003 to the 2004 model year in factory installed options

As if H2 weren't rugged or refined enough, GM offers a host of new accessories in 2004 to further enhance H2's "wow" factor. A bright appearance package includes chromed hood handles, hood latches and gas cap with filler trim. Chromed production wheels are also available. The trailering package now offered includes front hitch extension, vertical mount pin, hitch covers, electric brake harness and seven-to-four pin adapter. And three grille appearance options are offered in 2004 including body color, platinum chrome or black. For ease of access to loading items on accessory roof bows, new handles are available that mount into existing roof rails that come standard on every H2. From new chrome-plated tubular assist steps to a new chrome-plated wrap-around brush guard, and from an interior trim package to a roof-mounted bike carrier and HUMMER bike, there's an accessory to meet nearly every H2 owner's need.

We recommend that you see your local HUMMER Dealership for details and further product updates. This will also provide you with an opportunity to explore the H2 up close and take a test-drive! We encourage you to experience for yourself the agility and performance that this vehicle has to offer. Please click on the link http://www.hummer.com/hummerjsp/locate/index.jsp to locate a dealer. You may also find the HUMMER website helpful building a vehicle and researching pricing.

Don't forget about our Ready-to-Buy Program! The "H2 Get Ready-to-Buy Program" is a program offered to customers who want that personal touch. This program is unique to the HUMMER Brand. We offer assistance during the purchasing process, check the status of your vehicle during the building process, and much, much more!

If you should need to contact us in the future, please e-mail us again or call our HUMMER Marketing Support at 800-REAL4WD. Customer Relationship Managers are available seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Eastern Time.

Once again, thank you for contacting HUMMER!

Sincerely,

I would definitely be interested if you could negotiate a "group buy." Would also be interested to see how much difference in pricing there would be between this and the GM Supplier pricing.

NJ H2: I'm in roughly the same area as you. What/which dealers have you been to and what were your experiences/impressions? I've only been to James in Flemington so far but a friend of a friend owns Perrine on Rt. 130 so I may end up there when the time comes.
