Thanks Ken. Probably another stupid question on my part, but how will either the Ranchos or Rod Hall shocks affect the performance off road versus the ones that come standard? Is it a significant difference?

Whoever it is needs to replace that cable with a "pretty blue line".

KenP, dochummer, and/or H2 Rocks:
Where do you get these DRTY bumpers, and what winch can/would you put on one?

The synthetic line won't kill you if it breaks. The line will simply fall to the ground. A steel cable will fire back on itself. A very dangerous senario.
The RH shocks are supposed to be great, but they are expensive. I'd hazard a guess that most people put the Rancho 9000's on.

Personally, I like the drty winch setup the best out of all the options I have seen.
Both setups have some advantages that have been beatin' to death and can be found using the "find" option.
I have used the portable winches since the 90's on several rigs and in lots of different scenerios and have yet to bend anything. I have done some extreme winching at some crazy angles and never had a problem even when using a pulley at max load.
Oh, and don't forget your alignment

Thanks. Thanks to you hooking me up with Mike, I'm getting a basic Adventure Package and not much else (adding XM) for $51.122.75 plus tax etc, and will add on some kind of winch and the BH shocks seperately.
