Local shop is trying to charge me retail for tires, charge shipping/handling to order them and tax on top of that. After the total price of tires and wheels alone, there is an additional $900.00 dollars they are adding on top for BS like road hazzard warranty, nount balance etc. I just don't see it! All I need is mount and balance and some valve stems.

If anyone has a good online source for tires with good prices, I sure would appreciate it. thanks in advance!

I've had really good luck and service from Discount Tire Center, if you have one near you. Tell them what you were looking for, and flatter then with you've heard really good things about them and see what happens....

Try National Wheel and Tire, there in Wheeling, WV. They have good prices but I'm not sure how far away you are.

Hey Alec: I will "never" go to another Firestone Tire and Service Center....I have seen way too many crooked events happening...and not just to me. Like going in for an oil/belt change, and the very next day, I have a crankcase seal start leaking...say what???!!!

Jerks!...good thing the vehicle was still under warranty.

Discount Tire tried to rip me off. I got the same wheels and tires from another place for $2800, where DT was asking +/- $4400!
