When this post started I would say no. Changed my mind after seeing it in person. Would lift it up a bit, do few mods. Nice truck.

My wife would never let me buy an H3 for either of us to drive but we have been talking about buying my eldest son one in 2 years when he gets his license. We figured it would be a good learner car for him. Plus, I know how I used to drive when I first got my license and I will be damned if he is getting behind the wheel of my H2 even when the engine is turned off.

Wife also thinks the H3 is to soccer-momish (no insults intended) considering she just put SZMTRS on her license plate. And yes the H2 is hers while I got stuck with the montero sport. Works out better anyways because people can't drive here and they do not know how to open their doors. If the dents are from wheelin no prob it is just a little different when they are from an inconsiderate pr*ck.

Good deal. Sorry to jump you on that one.

You probably cry like a 12 year old girl when someone tells you that the H2 is just a wannabe H1 or the soccer mom grocery getter. You must have been the kid who got beat up in school then went home and punched your little sister to make yourself feel better.

They're all great vehicles, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. I have been thinking about buying an H2 for about a year now but ended up with the H3. Not because of the price, but other things I liked about the H3. I still love the look, off-road abilities, and comfort of the H2, but hey, ya gotta make a choice.

I'm not sure but it looks like the same language used on Jeepforum.

Me too Dennis. Mine was white, grey interior, alloy rims and a 4 banger. I loved that car.

I'd buy one if it had a V-8. Then I'd use it as a daily driver--like 'em just fine.

The H3 is as much a tank as the H2. Of course the H2 has the larger size to its benefit, but both are very strong vehicles. Size wise it's about the same length and slightly taller (pre-alpha) than an H1. Obviously width is the major size factor, but seating room you get a lot more in an H3 than an H1...

The H3 is a mid-size, it's HUGE for that segment. Comparing it to full-size trucks is apples and oranges.

We have an H2 and thought about getting an H3 as my wifes next vehicle, but then we pulled up next to one and it seemed awefully small in comparison. I know the H2 is not the largest thing out there, but we can't see going much smaller than an H2.

Other than size, it looks like a really nice truck.
