I'll for sure be there on the 1st and second, I won't be able to stay there past the 9th (leave on the 9th)...the 2nd through 9th would be better for me....

I can go at the end of October, but I have to be in Jackson Hole, WY, Oct 17 thru 19.
If we go at the end of October, don't we run the risk of snowstorms and short days and bad Canadian Jokes? Hurry up and decide!
Who else is going? What about the East Coast guys and Everyone in between? It's truly a wonderful trip! There are so many sights to see!

c-p,
Blondie and I may dive with you.
For all my fellow Jewish off-roaders, you may want to note that October 4th is Rosh Hashana and October 13th is Yom Kippur.
Now, for those of us who need to lock down dates well in advance, are we agreed on October 9th through 15th? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
That's it!!! You can't go!!!
As far as I know, no one has appointed you the coordinator of our trip. You may post your preferred dates and then be quiet.

YES!!!! The last week of September/first week of October would be great.
We need to make sure that there's no other events going on when we go- especially no sanctioned Hummer Club events because if I have to put up with some dillweed's politicking I'll whack him/her with a shovel.
We had a great time on our last trip without that crap.
Are we caving in and letting Tower go just so we can look at Blondie?

If this is going to be a week long trip, well, well, well. That just may be the ticket.
I'll follow anybody, except up LB. I promised "no" to that one.

Which trails are on the agenda? I've not had the opportunity to run Moab Rim or Pritchett Canyon, but I hear these are good ones.

The HCI Durango/Moab event is Sept 16-26. It usually is a very good outing and Doug Zirkel is an excellent organizer, but you're right there are some rules I don't agree with. I.e. not allowing splitting away to do optional obstacles.

Yeah, I don't think a day without food would hurt me too much.
I could also fast while wheeling, as long as I contemplate how mean I have been to DRTY this past year.

I would love to sky dive, but it seems a bit pricy for me, and I am not too keen on the tandem idea. I would be down as long as someone else foots the bill j/k
