Yep. That's my thought on it.
The only gun I have right now that I feel she could shoot comfortably is an old .32, because it's very heavy, and MAYBE the Glock 26. The 357 and 45 are off limits. She'd hit the ceiling.

I have one of those and the wife doesn't like to shoot it. The glock has a huge grip, little fingers can't wrap around it. But that shouldn't be a problem for the CP.
If you get it, make sure to get those extensions for the magazines that allows you put you pinky on the grip. It gives a lot more control. But if you're gonna conceal carry it on your hip or ankle it sticks out a lot more.

I've had one for years and it shouldn't be a problem for her getting the fingers around it.
Keep her away from the +Ps and she should be happy.
I like it on the hip, or in the pocket, when necessary, so I've never had the extension.

Re: Perfect handgun for CP
I leave this for the S/O for protection. She's a small girl and it feels just right for her. She's fired it at the range many times and Tammy like this one best. She asked me one time why some of the bullets have holes in them.

 That's right baby.
I laughed so hard, I think I woke everyone up.
No matter what, (and I am 5'5" 1/2 btw as determined last night) I will probably hurt myself.
