Damn right. i would light somebody up like a christmas tree !! Seriously though that is something that you agreed to in your contract when you entered into the purchase agreement. All those items that were on the invoice are YOURS. If they cant find a way to get them to you, they are technically in breech. (of course I am no lawyer but did watch legally blonde..um with my girlfriend) . Good luck.

For those of us who don't care for leather seats this makes the the non-lux models even more appealing. The difference is not worth the extra cost.

I just picked up mine tonight and even though I didn't get the visor/home link, they did previously have in my order for the roof rails and the dealer did install those once the truck arrived - same price. Plus they gave me the chrome fuel door at no charge and had it installed by pickup time!
Unfortunately the visor is not an aftermarket item and they couldn't make good on it.
I'll just chalk this up to the "first release issues" and leave it at that!
The feeling driving it home makes nothing else matter!

pathetic
this is what buying american is all about
hopefully, this will be a good experience or i'm going back to german </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I thought buying American was supporting American workers and the American economy. Getting a cool styling, higher than German quality and extreme capability and value is a bonus to me. Is it wrong that GM is fiddling with options after ordering? sure, and I'll be the first to let them know. It's not because their like us... American. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
if you're implying that an H3 is built to higher quality standards than, let's say a BMW, then you're delusional bro. i like my H3...i love it actually!!! that said, its quality/technology is very far behind my prior M3. my bimmer had no cheap plastic or friggin staples!!! staples? that is sad.
love your vehicle but be honest and see it for what it REALLY is (both good and bad). </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I assume you are talking about the staples that hold the splash shield to the fender liner? If so, that splash shield is not serviceable as a separate part, and so they stapled it to the fender liner. So, what's wrong with staples. I would bet you could tear apart a BMW and find some items you find strange too.
As for quality surveys, lately the Japanese are beating the heck out of the Germans, and the Americans and Canadians are getting some better quality reports and surveys than all of them.
Look at JD Powers and see how the US cars are moving up the ladder, and some of the lower priced GM cars are banging against the high priced imports.
Does the M3 have a better interior than a H3? Yes, and so does a Cadillac, but the sticker price is slightly higher on those two models if my memory serves me right this early in the AM.
I'm not knocking German cars, I love the BMW line and wish that GM had purchased them 10 years ago (a long story). I also love the looks of the Lexus line, but not one of them make anything comparable to the H3 with decent interiors and great off-road (I say great off-road) capabilities; especially in this price range. (Witnessed a 20 year old Jeep Cherokee, driven by our Navajo Indian Guide, extracting an X5 from the sands of Monument Valley last year, and the X5 driver was was red as the surrounding rock.)
Now back on subject. I would be peed off if I ordered a luxury package and not all the items are included as sold. However, I would bet there is probably a small font disclaimer somewhere on that form you signed (can only be read with the Hubble Telescope) that states something like, "GM has the right to change content," or something similar.
Not saying this is right, but it probably is legally binding...GM does have one large legal department and usually the legal eagles look everything over before it is approved.
In my humble opinion, anytime they change the content of a package, they should only do it on the packages not ordered. That is only my PERSONAL opinion.
You do get a lot more with the luxury package than just leather, and it still is probably worth the price. I would be more upset about the chrome appearance package, since the crossbows make it worth the $600.00. Just the chrome mirrors and door handles, in my opinion, does not make it worth $600.00
(All statements are my personal opinion.)
