You can use CD Creator, and probably most any other Audio CD Burning software to create your own CD that has encoded CD Text.

CircuitGuy,
The nav unit is the factory one that comes in the 2004. The adapter is the soundgate one. You can get that at www.logjamelectronics.com it is cheapest there. The cd changer is the cdxp-1280 from pioneer. That is the only parts I needed. The XM module is coming for Christmas. I love it a lot. Espicially because the steering wheel controls are still functional with this setup. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more info.
DVJ,
I am pretty sure you can. www.soundgate.com is where I got the adapter and they will be able to answer all your technical questions about that. Hope that helps.

SoCalH2,
Mine reads all 12 discs and it says disc 12, 11, 10 etc. I am sure you get the idea. As for mounting the Xm I am getting it for christmas. I am going to put it under the rear seat opposite side of the cd changer. Hope this helps some.

I have not seen anyone do it yet and I am not sure. The dealership will not sell just the unit. You have to show proof of one to get one from the dealerships. THat is the last I heard. Maybe someone else can help you out better.
