If this is the same gas card promo that Cadillac is doing then yes. My dad picked up an SRX back in mid november and we got the cards last week. Even better he gave my wife one of them since he and I do not pay for gas

Please tell Susan: Thanks for going with a fairly
high stock suspension on the H3, with high clearance
and good options for larger tires. Keep it up
when designing the H4, will you please?
And, please try to avoid tacky or weak looking parts
(e.g. cheap plastics and the plate under the H3
that is suspended from just one end -- any reason for that?)

No gas card either...
Worse, though I bought it the evening before the promotion. I wanted to add the dvds, plus a few extras and no one mentioned the promotion, so I paid full price for dvd players. I guess I was a sucker or I could give the dealership the benefit of the doubt that they didn't know about the next day promotion, YEAH.. When I brought it to thier attention they said that I since I already had taken posession, their hands were tied. Of course my DVD's weren't installed until a week later...
I did receive a card for 30 free phone minutes...No Gas Card.

It would be nice if us early adopters were rewarded for a change instaad of getting shafted. We're the ones who come here (and other sites) and pump up the H3, driving up sales. Wouldn't it be a nice gesture on GM's part if they offered us the DVD players at cost (or slightly over) to thank us for supporting the company and helping build their positive reputation? Who's with me?!

I had an opportunity to see the H3X. Here are its unique features:
Squared chromed wrap around brush gaurd.
Body color grill
18 inch chrome wheels
Body-color hard spare tire carrier with chrome accent
H# logo embroidered in front seat headrests.
Along with std features:
Lux package
Chromed appearance package
Chromed tube steps
Chromed gas door
Bright roof rack crossbars </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Yea, we've seen the H3X photos. It's okay, but hardly a marvel of engineering, and I like some bling. Hopefully they price it right.

Please tell her that we like it just the way it is. The only addition that we would like is a back-up camera.
We like the door grip location that somewhat dictates the other switch locations so don't move the grip forward in order to move the switches.
We don't have the power seats so if the switches are moved for ones that do, that may be worth doing.
Best regards,

No doubt that would be very sweet.
At some point my resistance will collapse and I'll just go and have my dealer install a set regardless of the $.

HOPE is a Hummer Club Inc program administered by them and club board members. There's a related but, I believe separate, agreement where the GM foundation agreed to dontate red cross branded Hummer brand vehicles to the Red Cross.
So I think it's probably fair game to ask about the GM foundation's donation. But I'm not sure she's going to be able to offer much on Hope. The contact on that Mike Morris of the Hummer Club.

Will there be GM upgrades for the Base Package to increase capabilities such as Rear Locker, electronic folding side mirrors, GPS.

Curious, granted if I am able to complete a deal by the time the promotion expires I will get them as they are a deal at $299, but do those who have them use them much? While I do have a baby, I dont see myself using them that often (not doubting the cool factor, and I appreciate that if you missed the deal by a month or so you would be pissed).
Jordan
In a year or two your baby will get good use of the dvd players I dont think were pissed maybee bummed out a little

If our schedules line up, I have a chance to talk to Susan Docherty (GM of Hummer). Are there any reasonable questions that you would want answered? Please post your questions in this thread.

Street Performance = Lot's of chrome.
Of course you'll ask about engine changes.
Standard rock rails. Dealers don't seem to order them.
Standard 3M fender protection.
How about a TRUE adventure package. Same for the H2.

the H2 is is old and the H1 is way to high of price point to look at numbers. Until the H2 has a design change it will continue to slide (goin on 4 yrs old) they are hoping special editions and accessories will propell sales wile they figure out how to spend the money. Don't look for major changes untill 08 for the H2 but the pick-up H2 (full size will hit 07)
She is a nice/smart lady and knows how to market this brand (she comes from Caddy) but design and vision is left to others.

Oh and before you ask, here are the overall numbers....posted by f5fstop:
December 2005 Hummer Sales:

H2 2109
H3 5935
December 2004 Hummer Sales:
H1 57 (down 38.6%)

H3 33,140
January 2004-December 2004 Sales:
H1 447 (down 16.3%)
H2 28,898 (down 19.7%)
H3 No Sales

2005 56,727
2004 29,345

Do you think the H3 cannibilized the H1? I agree with the H2, but find it hard to think that someone who was going to spend 130k+ for a vehicle, would opt for a H3. As much as I love my H3, I would have gone for the H1 (if I had the money ). </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I agree with your thought process, I would have bought one as well if I could have, but as a sales manager, I would say that a 16.3% decrease in sales might be at least partially due to the launch of the H3. Numbers always tell the story.
