I oppose the train horn idea, not that it doesn't seem like a cool toy. However, for the expense and effort- how many times would you actually "toot" it. Not to mention the thought of possible litigation if applied during your daily commute.
For instance- someone cuts you off, you blast it and a Prep School Van full of privileged children get hurt because the driver got spooked and ran into the guard rail.

I got everything installed and the compressor decided to **** the bed. The manufacturer is sending a new one. The guy said they had problems with a bunch of them.

You do that and I promise I will serve ****ty Canadian Ass Beef at the BBQ!
Or I could call it Sweet Revenge Canadian ****ty Ass Beef. Either way it'll be YOUR ass! If you were big enough, I'd open a restaurant, and I'd put your ass on the menu as "Lions Back Horn Honker" served Rare...
and I'd be laughing all the way to the grill!

I so know how serious you are, that I just wanted to make myself clear. In fact, I'm having so much fun thinkinig about it, I just might do it anyway.

Can you get any pics? Can you get just the horns w/o the compressor? Ballpark idea on cost? How big are the horns themselves? Is it raining there?

These guys sell a slimline 3 gallon tank. That might work out better mounted under the truck.

BTW, this is the set the stranger up north is installing that I'm not allowed to get. The trumpets are spun brass with a cast iron manifold. The longest trumpet is about 19".

I'm not going to talk about it anymore until this secret agent, I mean this person posts pics.

Yes......Yes........Thanks Ken.......Thanks

Roxie,

How about riding up with me and you can push the button. And I don't complain non-stop about my clenching sphinxter. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
How about,.. I wait at the bottom with my own train horn, and light it off about the time you reach maximum Sphinxage?

Looks like there is a regular old airhose fitting on the manifold.

Hey, I don't have that little storage area. Besides, I don't thing the 5 gallon tank I have will fit there. Is that 1/4 inch line? It looks larger.
