The Billy Boat system is the one sold by SMA. We've put one on, had a lot of issues getting it put on correctly, and it just didn't have the right sound. The Corsa will be expensive, but I think it'll be worth it.

Cool Link H3Eric, that doesnt sound bad at all.
How would you mount that? forward where the front Res would be or in the back with a short drop off tail pipe like the factory ?

We also ordered the GM exhaust kit for the H3 today, it was just made available for order. It was designed by Borla. I'm planning on taking sound samples and putting them on our website at 1000, 3000, and 5000 rpm for each exhaust system we offer as well, to help everyone out.

First Hummer:

1. Did you go back to stock intake?
2. If so, how is the sound now with your SMA exhaust?

I drove the dealers H3 with both SMA intake and SMA exhaust installed and I thought a lot of noise was coming from the front (intake).

thanks,
Steve

One other thing to keep in mind about exhausts... can't tell you how many times I saw trailer hitches get banged around last time I was out. If you offroad... chrome exhaust nozzels are cool, and look great. But if they are not tucked under... where nobody can see em... they may get pancaked. I totally underated those advertised clearance angles.

Oh no im not jokin haha i did that on a v6 car and it sounded great! and only cost 50 bucks! im scared to do it to the h3 tho just in case it sucks with the 5 banger... i dunno how easy it is to re-put on the suitcase after you cut it off.... or if it messes with any sensors..

Maybe it is just me but I didn't like the soundclip of the Magnaflow exhaust on their website.

So far a lot of speculation about exhaust systems.

Other than some good feedback about the SMA exhaust by a half dozen H3 owners, the rest has been less than useful.

Maybe we can get some real feedback on the Corsa system.

S.

Aren't all these exhaust systems just a different muffler, some piping and a couple "TIPS". A muffler for $100.00 and two tips at $50 each with a muffler shop welding it all together shouldn't be more than $250 or $300 bucks. Am I missing something? The dyno charts all pretty much look the same to me (not that I know what they mean). I will be upgrading my exhaust but at what price? Am I just paying for a pretty package when I buy the system complete? And, these tips will be torn off or at least damaged with any sort of offroading except maybe fireroads.

To Answer your question. All of the systems pretty much perform the same, maybe a slight change in note per system, but they flow pretty much the same.of course each manufacture will claim otherwise. WannabeH3 was jokeing (i think?)about the glass pack, but the truth is The pack flows even better.
