Front Tire Rubbing?
I looked at a 2006 H2 over the weekend. I noticed what looked like wear on a metal hose or some part of the front suspension on the passenger side. It appeared as if perhaps the front tire was rubbing on it during left turns. I don't recall seeing this on other H2's I've looked at. Is this common? The vehicle has Kuhmo Road Venture tires that do not look oversize.

The "metal hose" is going to be the front anti-sway bar. I would check the actual tire size for sure. They could be 13.50's. Also, does it have stock wheels? That can have an effect. Other than that, it could be alignment maybe. All in all it is not really a big issue.

No worries dude its just from the tires, not a biggy, gets thin spacers if it bothers you when you full turn.

Standard size tires/wheels shouldn't to that, should they? Just looking for clues as to what kind of life this H2 has led.

Re: Front Tire Rubbing?
You can have 10 different brand tires all the same size, and every single one of them will be shapped different. Some might be taller, some wider, some more round and others thinner... While being the same size in numbers.
Do you feel it when you're at full turn now?? cuz if you dont then it might just be that it might have previously had bigger tires in the past and you can see the marks on the sway bar and now with the standard size tires you're not rubbing anymore but the scars are still showing.... But if you are feeling the rub then its just the width of the tire. Like I said... Not a big deal at all, its not gonna hurt anything, but if its something that bothers you a lot, get some wheel spacers and you wont rub anymore. (or some new wheels with a lower offiset )

My 05 showed the same wear on both sides with the stock BFG All Terrains.

Sway Bar! Its normally one side. Hard lock turns I believe, but nothing major will become of it.
