Come on guys, I knew we would get the smartass replies, but do any of you have a real responses other than NC?
This post is intented to find someone who owns an H2 as a second vehicle and would rent it to my company, or to get some good suggestions on where to get a 3 month lease.

I'd be willing to let you wrap my H2 up here in Northern California .... and I drive it, for much less than $14,000.00 ... I drive mine at least 50 miles per day, six days a week.

Good lord...you people (DRTYFN) are a bunch of JACK ASSES!
Yes I expected to get flamed for having this request posted, but not to the point that you think it is a seriously stupid request.
YES, I am absolutely aware of how much it costs to rent an H2 - $2000/week. And YES, I though if I offered a personal owner a portion of that money, they might be interested. If I owned an H2 as a second vehicle and some company offered me several thousand dollars for a 3 month rental for something that could actually be a cool...I would definitely consider it! Why not, you would make money and get to see your vehicle used in a very cool promotion.
Apparently the folks on this board (except Steve R. who I met on the DISCOWEB site) are not a very intelligent community with relative and constructive suggestions. I got more info from the folks who own Land Rovers then all of you, and they laugh at H2 owners all day long. (except Steve R.)
Thanks for nothing. I am glad I own a Land Rover if this is the type of people I would encounter in an H2 outing or event.

Since you didn't clarify yourself from inception, what did you expect?
Since you've said that you're from the Discoweb, you've undoubtedly witnessed the trashtalking that we hear on a daily basis, right? It never once crossed your mind that we might be a little leary of lame requests? Sorry, extremely lame. Should've used your head and come up with a better initial presentation. Is that your usual M.O.? Throw **** against the wall and see what sticks? Piss poor. You wouldn't work for me for very long, if ever.
As for sucking up to H2 owners now- too late. You can't unring the bell.
And about the fatigues, ever been to a surplus store? What do they sell in surplus stores? Ahhh.... fatigues. But you wouldn't know that because you're too lazy to do your own research.
Enjoy your job while you can hang onto it.
ps. Detonate- you butthole

I need to lease or rent an H2 for 3 months, from October through December for my company.
I need it for use in CA, AZ, NV, TX. I also need to wrap to serve as a sponsorship vehicle, which will be wrapped and unwrapped by my company.
If anyone is interested in making some extra cash or has any suggestions, please let me know right away via email – matt.williams@active.com

Todd,
You sniveling little pussy.
When you don't get someone to lay their H2 at your feet you resort to such petty tactics as saying Discos laugh at H2s(like we give a ****). Did you think that H2 owners are a bunch of inept buffoons because the Disco owners say we bought "grocery-getters"? Is that your management style? I bet you're just like that manager in the movie "Office Space".
Why didn't you contact your local Hummer dealership or Gm corporate and try for a sponsorship? Maybe because you have a really small reptilian brain and sponge off the ideas of others? Or maybe you did, and you rubbed them the wrong way, just like you did to us. Prick.
Can't wait to give your company a call and ask about you and then post your coworkers' opinions here. Sound like fun? I does to me. I'm betting that you're a real treat to work with, you dick.

What are you apologizing for and why? Todd came on to insult everyone within sight, when challenged, he back-tracked and suddenly turned nice. He does not thank anyone nor answer anyone who helped him, unless when challenged and only then. This happened repeatedly in this topic. I worked with advertising agency for 27 years, what makes him think it is anything unique?
How can you turn against your own long time forum friends like Dennis and Drtyfn for a shifty lying ungrateful new comer? Is that how you treat your old friends in real life? Before anyone blame our own longtime members in defense of this Todd or whatever and how many names he uses, let me ask you if this is what you say when you come to Hummer site in good intention to ask for help? before anyone was nasty to him.

What did you really expect? Someone to loan you an H2 for a nominal fee?
Actually, you got treated pretty well considering the ridiculous request you made.
You know why you came here? Because you probably already went to the rental companies and found out how prohibitively expensive it would be. Why don't you purchase/lease the H2 and write off as much as you can?
For your company's sake, I hope you're not in charge of anything important.

OHHHHH NOOOO!,
I feel so guilty now?
Show us some links about your company and any other pertinate stuff. Telling us in the first place it was for the Armed Forces would have helped you.
But I highly doubt you speak the truth. You and your 14 year old son...err...ASSociate should put some thought in your trolling techniques.

I considered the request of the original poster. It be nice to rent my truck out for 3 months and get back a couple grand to pay for a roof rack, winch, etc...
Unfortunatley my H2 is not my second vehicle, and I can't even imagine driving my wife to work every day in her car! Bleh!
It's not uncommon for people to look to personal owners to rent their vehicles. Many of the vehicles for show at the Texas Truck and SUV show were other peoples personal vehicles used to display after market products.
Movie companies rent people houses for movie shoots. Like I said, just ignore the asses on this board.

Alright, I give in and I will not return to H2Source again. I went back and read the posts on the first page after my associate's (mwill9530) original post. The reason I jumped in extends from these two replies:
- "For your company's sake, I hope you're not in charge of anything important."
- "Most of these members can't even wait till morning to get in their H2s and you expect a serious response???"
So my response was apparently out of line after reading this. But I was not expecting to get this kind of reply. So, fine, you win, please except my sincere apologies for offending anyone on this board. It was not my intention, I was really just looking for help from the H2 experts.
I certainly don't think posting a request like this is some sort of outrageous thing. Yes, I actually thought that someone on this board might be willing to rent me their own personal H2 for a generous fee. If all of you think that is a stupid idea, what can I say. I thought many of you actually owned these as second vehicles and may not use them on a regular basis. I am not in the business of acquiring vehicles for every promotion we do. This is a new deal for our agency and we have never had to rent such a high profile vehicle for such a short period of time.
Once again, thanks to those who did offer information and my apologies to all.

Todd,
Why don't you buy it used and then sell it when you are done? Check the wholesale blue on the H2 given the miles, calculate the wholesale blue after the new miles you will be driving. I am sure the difference will be minimal given the 04's are just arriving (depreciation is already built in). This has got to be your best deal. You might even get away even on this if you work at it and only pay for the gas. There is really no risk this way you just have to secure the vehicle. I would consider it an investment with a return of 24K (2k per week for 12 weeks to rent), not really a return I guess but your net will be close to zero.
Is there a reason you won't do it this way?
