Good to know, I toss things in all the time...and I am also wondering how hard it is to remove and put back on?

I originally intended to buy and SUT last October, but I couldn't make up my mind between the Stealth Grey and the Yellow. They are both beautiful. . .so, instead I just decided to wait, but wanting to get a hummer stayed loaded in RAM.
In the middle of Feb, I was thinking about it again, so I went to Hummer.com. They had a picture of the Victory Red special edition and I knew right away it was what I wanted. Plus, they were giving away the back seat DVD system and knocking some money off up front. I was able to make a lot of mods like the t-cover and such and still come out well below sticker. We've had nothing but crappy weather, so I don't have any decent pics, but when I get some, I'll post them. Of course, since it's got plenty of chrome, I imagine I'll get beat up over it, but I like some chrome without going crazy.
The Victory Red is really a great color. . .

I have both the bed mat and the cover. they are both great. Water proof and you can stand on the cover to wash the roof.

finally had my tonneau installed yesterday, while i was in the sierras using a dealer's truck. it seems pretty cool, but i must say, it definately doesnt look/fit like a 1k item. it will def do the job until a slant back is completed

Alright, for those of us about 5'9 190, can we expect the t-cover to support our body weight? It seems non-loadbearing to me, but I don't want to find out the hard way.

tx the victory red was well over 60k, and some dealers only got 1. some of the bigger delaers got up to 5. i can vouch for the fact that probably 3/4 of the salesmen at the dealer probably didnt even know that the victory red existed

That's a great price. I had the same kind of deal with GM Supplier pricing, but they wouldn't do it on the upcoming victory reds at that time. Definitely worth it. Good for you!!

I HAVE THE TONNEAU SITTING IN THE BOX, BUT HAVENT GOTTEN IT INSTALLED YET. THE TECH AT THE DEALER TOLD ME IT TAKES BETWEEN 2 AND 4 HOURS DEPENDING..(sorry for the caps)...i also have the bed mat in the back. it has been raining, and w/o the tonneau ive been in trouble, as i can tkeep anyting in the bed, so myu back seat is filled, and no one can sit. I would say 100% until a slant back is available the tonneau is a must

Anyone have one on their SUT? I have a hard time thinking that it is worthy of 1K of my cash. I hope an aftermarket solution will come out soon!

Is there an online place where I can get a mat?
I have the tonneau cover on my SUT (came with it), and love it since I'm constantly toting my son's baseball and football gear with me 24/7.
VT, I don't think that removal/reinstallation would be too difficult, but I'm betting once you have it on, you'll probably never want to remove it.
