Unlike you, DRTY, there really are people who don't leave their friends behind and in disrepair. Nowhere did I say I was trying to help out. The kid at radioshack didn't know jack about tuning dual antenna rigs. It took quite a while and I had to explain it to him after letting him screw it up. If you doubt this, ask Tim. <span class="ev_code_RED">How dare you say that I abandoned someone that was "in disrepair"!!! You chubby oaf!!! Playing around with antennas when we could be wheeling wasn't a priority. And again, all you had to do was say that you wanted to run it and I would have been right there to do it with you. But you've conveniently forgotten that you were mysteriously SILENT about going up there on a second run. I don't remember LB getting closed down for renovations. </span>

Kenny,
Don't be a (insert endearing term for "cat" here). I'm at altitude every winter weekend and just got back from CO where we cleared 12,000 feet a few times with no problem. You'll need a better excuse than that to wimp out!

I am not going to get too involved with this, but dude, "disrepair"???? A CB that's not tuned is not "disrepair". And left behind!!!, LMAO, at RadioShack??, you make it sound like we left Tim on the trail with a broken rig. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
YOu guys are such dicks for leaving me stranded at Radio Shack!
I have been to Moab four times. And all four times I said no thanks. I have made a previous JOKE (this means not being serious) that I was left behind so I couldn't do LB. (DAMN) I still won't do it! Nor did I feel that I was being left behind either! LMAO!
Now, if someone left me on Cliffhanger with a broken cryptovalve and nothing to eat but vegetables, I'D BE PISSED!

Ok, I just went out and plugged in my Hypertech Programmer and it pulled a code P0300. Misfire detected. ??? I'm sure the dealer will have no luck in duplicating this sice we are only at a mile high. And I really don't want them driving this thing way up there. So I guess I'l find out on Monday or Tuesday.
Georege, I'll let you know what happens. Also, There are 5 or 6 of us here in CO that go up to the mountains all the time and have no issues. I had no issues with the 03... except the arirbags going out in the 03. Other than that, I'm not awarer of any altitude issues with any other CO owners.

There's a series of pictures showing how this guy ended up going off and earning a Darwin Award. Driver error all the way.

I am doing Lion's Back, so make room in the pewters for whitey, albeit a blacked out whitey. My wife says if I do it she will ride but my 4 yo daughter is saying she wants to stay at the bottom and watch (she loves Seth's video)

Sorry. I must have temporarily lost my sense of humor.
Bummer, I was really hoping we would see you. We will be skiing in mid December. Any good wheeling then in CO, or is there too much snow?

I have to step in now, and defend Tower...
He and H2Blondie did meet up and evidently had a great time together -- so much so that they already have a couple of other future trips planned.
However, I believe the implication of "internet dating" should be dispelled... and the off-road lights had nothing to do with the "relationship", and whether or not it would exist -- but rather fate and timing that were to thank.
Tower has been nothing but a gentleman to H2B, and for that I am grateful... it is about time that my sister meet someone who KNOWS how to treat a lady!
Now, for those of you who just can't let this die... better show up in Moab! Then, hopefully you can see with your own eyes that fate works in mysterious ways...

I had a loose spark plug wire after header installation. Intermittent as the wire connected some times and didn't some times.
Misfire detected.

So, everything buffed out today.. except three scratches that can be noticed only by me I'm sure.
Jonahs, the only time it has happened was at high altitude. not sure what Vail pass is at, but it's up there and that's also where I went off off roading too. So it has somethting to do with the high altitude. BTW, that's where it did it last time too.
I doubt this has anything to do with bad gas as it's still on the same tank and it has doesn't it since I came off of Vail pass. It only acted up when it was around 11,000ft (just a guess). But at one point I was above timberline and the other I was just below. ???

Call the dealer and see if they still have your old rig, then trade them out of it. Seriously, sorry to hear you're having the problem, again. The only thing that can make an engine just quite running is either fuel or ignition. Of course we have many sensors onboard that determines that these days. Weren't you at altitude and wet the first time it happened? And, it's strange it didn't store a code. Is it still doing it now? If not, the dealers really going to have a problem determining the problem without a code. Hope they find the problem for you and keep us updated.

I'll be taking my 05 H2 hunting at 9,000 ft in the snow in October. Please tell me more about the computer problem you had at altitude and the computer code.
Thanks,

Well, I took her to 14,260 today!
Mount Evans (highest paved road in the US).
Great views and the truck ran great!
Now , to get it up there and get it dusty and see if it does it. Should be fine now and I think it was the dan fuel pump at this point.

SO, they went straight for the fuel pump and lines. Checking snesors after that I hope. I'll find out more in the AM.

I am definitely beginning to think you guys ARE crazy! Let me pay up my life insurance -- wouldn't want the family left homeless -- and I will ride with one of you!
My pampered "mall machine" (the "desert sand diva") wouldn't know what to do in that kind of environment! (Yes, I admitted it!!! )
