Like I said, these are minor complaints. Its not like these things would have kept me from picking the H3. For a 1st model year, I think GM hit a home run.

Just hit 2000 miles, I love it, my only complaint though is the gas milage. States 16(city) and 20(highway) on the sticker. I haven't even gotten close to 20 miles a gallon. My driving consists of some highway, but mostly around town. My wife keeps track of the miles per gallon and we are getting less than 16 per!!!!!!! And i have already gotten less than 14 per on a tank. Could something be wrong with it?

Me too! Perhaps the side airbags had something to do with the design?

It's all in the matter of how close you drive along side.

So I guess your complaint would be that the H3 doesn't come with a built in Radar Detector/Jammer

Well, my biggest complaints, in order, are:

Visibility, mainly rear and A-pillar.

Non-flat cargo bay.

No rear seat ventilation.

Rear turn signals are red instead of amber.

Lack of power.

Fake exterior ornaments (hood vent and tire inflation).

No integrated hands-free bluetooth system for cell phones.

No decent on/off road nav system.

Fuel door doesn't lock/unlock with the other doors.
However, I think most of these can be remedied somewhat:

A rear-view mirror LCD with camera looks like a good way to fix the rear visibility. As for the thick A-pillars and large mirrors, I guess I just need to learn to crane my neck more often.

I think the cargo bay can be made flat if necessary by adding some filler (i.e. foam or wood) to the back part.

I guess rear seaters will just have to roll down the window.

Rear tail lights can be replaced with these lights.

A supercharger or turbo should fix the power issue.

Wheels can be switched out, and the vent panel can be switched out (but not sure with what yet, maybe some kind of ram air??).

I'll just use a bluetooth headset for the phone. Maybe it's better that all the passengers aren't involved in the call anyway.

Nav is coming, but not sure how good it will be. If not, the nav on my Treo is pretty good.

Can get a locking fuel cap. Just have to use a key, which is still an annoyance, but a minor one.
And, of course the things I like about the H3 greatly outweigh these!

Adventure package, auto trans. Kinda wierd. I'm headed back up to the mountains again this weekend, I'll do some more downhill. Might be that I was on snow/ice, but I've done that in other rigs before and never had anything like this. Engine seems to run just fine, only 800 miles on the rig, so who knows wtf it is. Probably user error

I tried to take out the mirror on the ticket machine to get close enough. Still, I had to unbuckle and hang out the window to grab a ticket. It's just the high window sill in relation to the seat. Doesn't help that the ticket thingy is like at Z06 level! Even worse, I had to feed the one a dollar because I was out of change. I had to open the door and get out to do it. Then I forgot the change and had to like reach through the open window while trying to stand on the running board to get it. Ugh! EZ Pass is going to be highly appreciated.

As for ATM's, I've learned to just go inside now, or walk up to the evil things because the H2 doesn't fit though most of the little corridors they build around them. They world needs to think more about Hummers when they build things. Like parking garages and whatnot.

I kinda like the turn signal sound. It's the exact sound that my friend's SAAB makes so I'm sure it was in the GM parts bin somewhere.

The truck needs 50 more pounds of torque. Also, visibility through the rear glass is poor. Be careful backing up! The stink bug stance of the H3 makes it worse. I somewhat leveled the truck with 3 turns of the torsion bars but it's still bad.
