Ok, so let me ask this....what is the big "whoo Haw" about bling vs No bling! You know back in the day chrome was in.....I guess its out these days?
Most on here know where the other is coming from so as long as you don't have Lambo doors and a lowered truck, you'll be fine.

BTW, get used to giving and taking jokes. As a blinger, if you can't take it, you'll get beat.

Ask HummBob.

Each to their own I guess, but blinging out a Hummer is like putting a lift and 40" MT's on an Escalade, kind of contradictory to the whole essence of the vehicle. Sure you can do it, but just because you can, doesn't mean you should

OK, fine, i'm convinced. The only reason jeepers or whoever ever threw a tantrum at an H2 is because of lamob doors and chrome. In fact, if chrome had never been put on an H2, jeepers would have rushed to the web to post nice things about it.

(i'm joking)

In my opinion, the bling is more something people sort of got started using as an excuse for why h2s made them fret, and has little or nothing to do with the fretting.

I'm staying in the bling camp for now, but i did lose 2 pieces of chrome off the front of my truck over the weekend, and put an unholy gouge in the rear DS.

But that's what body shops are for, and i consider it a critical civic duty to counter the "blackers"

I think the whole "Chrome won't get you home" thing was more about practical modifications to your truck, rather than those just for show, (chrome, black or otherwise). Incidentally, "Chrome won't get you home" was around a long time before H2's, and was often referencing Jeeps covered in bling.

I'm nearly sure that in a court of law i could produce evidence showing that i've called blackers "just another form of bling" a handful of times on this very forum. I agree with your point, if that was the point you intended to make: either blacking or blinging is just modification of a vehicle to "enchance" image. Save, i guess, blacking due to persistent damage that is just too annoying to keep shiny.

"Chrome won't get you home" is new to me, but i'm beginning to wonder if someone should say "chrome held on by 3M tape won't be coming home" as a marketing slogan for methacrylate adhesives.

I love the carbon look I had the water dipped method done to mine. Like the head liner in yours some days
