BTW - I'm having a Jerry can holder (twin) made to mount on Toot's spare tire this week. Any body else want one? I don't think the existing ones posted earlier in the thread are available for our bolt pattern.

I think if they saw a non-standard color (i.e. not red, yellow, or blue), then a reasonable safety-oriented assumption is that it's gas or diesel. My guess is they'd make that assumption even if all they saw was a blue water can.

The history of the trail is pretty amazing, eh? One of the last of the old west gunfights happened somewhere on the trail. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
It happened at Government Holes in 1925 - the two guys emptied their 45's into each other and BOTH died. The cabin where it happened is gone, but the stone foundation remains and the windmill powered well that pumped the water they were fighting over is still there - and still working!!! The 1st time I was there I was by myself and it was like something out of a weird old movie - the desert in the middle of nowhere and this wind powered pump just squeeking away in its own slow rhythm!

I tried to buy metal Jerry cans yesterday. Seems you can't even buy those here anymore either. I think I'll try putting something on the H2 classifieds here for the sceptor cans. Maybe someone has some they aren't using and want to sell. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
A bud of mine purchased a few of them in a 4x4 shop near Sac. i believe.I will find out if you like? Harbor freight tools sales them here. picked mine up in the henderson store $48 out the door, came with the C.A.R.B dispenser spout
