Yeah, they are loud as hell! I knew that before I bought them so it doesn't really bother me. The tires ride really good. You can feel all the bumps in the road but that is typical with a big tire. All tires balanced out to zero and did not ask for any more than 5oz. of weight. |

I live in brookhaven (near buckhead). Tellico is a lot of fun. It's not the skill as much as the gonads out there. There are just lots of opportunities for dents, etc. But, if you listen to your spotters, you will make it fine out there. Do you go to the Hummer Happenings by Lou Sobh?

Will they let you show up if you didn't get your truck from them. I would love to go the next time they have one. Elan motorsports and panoz are one of my biggest customers, I've been to Road Atlanta several times but never seen the off road course. It would be pretty cool!

Dobie, scope out Gatlinburg for me. We're heading out there after T-giving for a week.
Staying at some resort the wife booked.
Should be fun, I mean heck, I just wanted to go to Key West.

Its open to all hummer owners and its FREE. Very Cool. I run my 99 FRC vette up at road Atlanta as often as I can (panoz track days)! Its off to the left of the track (behind turn 12). I'll keep you posted as soon as I get any info on when the next event is.

awesome! Keep me posted. I'm looking for anywhere to wheel. Do you have any good spots here in the atlanta area that you can wheel? The only thing around my house is power lines and the cops don't like it when you go there  |

Thats about all that is close in. There are some pretty tough trails up at Beasley's Knob near Blairsville, but actually the Hummer course at Road Atlanta is probably the closest cool place I have found. There is also river rock orv park near Madison, and some trails up at amicalola falls.
