Re: Central Florida Hummer owners
Hmm.. not that I know of. Who knows of a place to go? There was a thread about some place near Palm Beach, I think... awhile ago, should check that out.
I got my cfl offroading fix today by driving over a curbed median thing so I didn't have to wait for the next several lights to get into the turn lane.

I was about to mention setting up a run to Ocala. Been talking to some people lately that said that you can pretty much run an numbered trail. It won't be anything like some of the other stuff post but at least we can get out there. Searching around for info I actually saw pictures from there with rocks in them which I did not know even existed in FL. Anyone one up for trying next weekend?

Re: Central Florida Hummer owners
I cant do next weekend but I would definetly like to go in the future with a little more notice. Did anyone go to the Hummer happening at Billy's Swamp Safari two months ago??? There was a great turnout from both West and East coast. The food/catering with white chef hats and silver platters in the middle of the Everglades was hysterical. Please put me on a PM list if anyone is going. Thanks
Al

Re: Central Florida Hummer owners
I didn't hear about that either, and that's where I really wanted to check out.
Are these rocks big enough that I need wheel protectors and to remove my assist steps?

Re: Central Florida Hummer owners
I posted back then in the events section with no response. I was hoping to meet some people from the forum there. Maybe next time. It was hosted by Coral Hummer and a West coast dealership that I dont remember know. It was fun and they had some interesting trails enhanced by bullldozer.

Sorry I missed your post. Until just recently I wasn't even paying any attention to the events section since there was never anything FL posted. I have started keeping an eye on it lately though.

Re: Central Florida Hummer owners
This coming weekend is not good for me either - fishing in the Keys - but anytime after that I am up for it. I heard about the event out at Billys Swamp Safari but couldnt go as I was in the Bahamas.

Re: Central Florida Hummer owners
Weird - just as I was hitting submit reply on that last post my phone rang and it was Coral Hummer calling to ask me if I wanted to be included in their mailing list for any upcoming events.

Watch out, they are reading your mind
I am going to see if I can get a couple of vehicles to head up to Ocala in the next week or two and see if we can scout out some trails.

Re: Central Florida Hummer owners
Call Global Hummer. They are doing a meet every month. There is also a guy (Sinbad) that has a club set up for some years. I forget what the website is though.

Re: Central Florida Hummer owners
I just bought a new H3 this week and would definitely be interested in a central Florida club. Looking for places to go and learn how to use this awesome vehicle.
