I'm guessing they have 50 to 60 H-3's in stock (mix of 06 & 07)
I believe they (Williamson) is one of the largest movers of HUMMERS in the USA (not the largest, one of)

Now Williamson and Vera HUMMER, just over the county line both contribute to the group advertising fund (or wharever its called) so the final price will include the advertising contribution.

Guess i'm close

I agree with you there, however used can be a good option if the mileage is low and not too old! The initial depreciation hit is gone and you pretty much get a brand new vehicle for less.

Now I realize after doing more homework that the price is similar without much difference, hence my thinking is now to go new.

F5, he was a salesman at Hummer of KC until December 2006.

I am not pleased with Hummer of KC at all! Last night the salesperson was clueless, albeit new, but I knew more about the H3 than he and the GM combined! The GM was rude, inconsiderate, not customer friendly, and insulted both me and my girlfriend.

While looking at a lux/adv H3, the salesman told me that the tires were the 32" tires and that this model didn't have the ZM6 package! I was blown away!

I am not at all impressed with Hummer of KC, who is affliated with Superior Chevrolet. I guess I need to move back to Denver, but then again Medved Hummer, from what I've read, is not much better!

Most dealers suck. It's an unfortunate reality. However, you do sometimes find exceptional people working for them, even though they may be hiding at the back of the building!

Sad part is MOST sales people do not know the product they are selling, and now with the Internet, the buyer can be better informed than years ago.
(I say MOST; NOT ALL, so the sales people on this site, I don't mean you guys/gals.)

Agreed. Most sales people in car biz are worthless from a product knowledge standpoint.

They try hard with Hummer, you must pass all classes on product knowledge before you can take part in any bonus programs, and that goes for the dealer too. Most stores turnover is around 60-80% so it is almost imposiable to keep them around. Only a few make enough money to stay without burning out. I was selling during the honeymoon peroid of the H2 release. I was sent to 5 schools for intense product knowledge, demo, customer study, and flat out fun. I would not want to be a dealer at this time with Hummer due to the lack of product line to sell. They need the 4 and a Hummer Certified sales program for used rigs so you can make money. Like with anything, trust is earned not given freely. Double check what your dealer does, ask questions, ask to meet service advisor and the tech who works on your truck. If you seem involved your less likely to get hosed.

usedtosellhummer - Now that you mention it, the Hummer sales guy was more knowledgeable than most cars sales types.

I'm headed up to Huber Hummer in Omaha now to check out their inventory. From what I've heard and seen, they are much better than Hummer of KC. The only problem with this scenario is, if I need service, I will invariably have to go to Hummer of KC! Either that or drive 2.5 hours north of KC to Omaha.

I get the feeling many of us are in the same boat, I will be 2 hrs from the dealers in my area, just need to choose one that seems to be the best, not always easy when they are so far away. I was getting the feeling from my contact with one dealer that he had forgotten me and or just didn't care, after my third e-mail I got a flood of info today...of course nothing I hadn't read here first!
