Angelo D,
Very nice lift and tires. Have you had a chance to put them in the sand yet? I live in Florida with lots of "sugar sand", which tends to make narrow tires dig until you find yourself sitting on the frame. I know they're great for cutting through the mud and finding solid ground, but how about the sand.
I really like those tires and have been trying to decide between those and the Goodyears MTR's.
Thanks,
Buddy

Nice rig, no doubt. What's your actual ground clearance, though? And do you know what the max tire size is with your lift? Enjoy...

Angelo
my grill is at the body shop-could you provide me with the # of your body shop so mine could talk with them as to what kind of priming they used. Also in your first post you said they didn't paint your door handles--mine are black from the factory-can't believe you couldn't just replace them?

TONKA H2, I DON'T HAVE MY H2 AT WORK WITH ME TODAY SO I CANT MEASURE GROUND CLEARANCE TODAY.
I WOULD SAY I HAVE INCREASED MY TOTAL GROUND CLEARANCE AROUND 2IN, MOSTLY FROM 37IN TIRES.
I'M NOT SURE HOW BIG I COULD GO ON THE TIRES, I KNOW I COULD GO ATLEAST 1/SIZE BIGGER.
I DON'T THINK I WOULD WANT TO GO ANY BIGGER THOUGH BECAUSE OF HP POWER DRAIN AND THE GEARING WOULD BE TO HIGH.

Kerr, after seeing Angelo's lift I also went for the Rancho 4". I have posted pics a few times around on the site already but what the heck, just so you don't have to search for it...
You can never have enough horsepower! BAD DAWG, YOUR H2 LOOKS GREAT! I HAVE DONE A QUITE A BIT OF WORK TO MY H2 SINCE WE HAVE LAST TALKED. I CHANGED MY TIRES TO BFG M/T 37IN/12.50, JUST HAD 456/GEARS AND A ARB FRONT AIRLOCKER INSTALLED. 2/WEEKS AGO I HAD THE CORSA SPORT OFFROAD EXHAUST INSTALLED. MY ENGINE IS PUTTING OUT 570/HP, I HAD TO UPGRADE MY TRANSMISSION TO HANDLE THE HORSE POWER. I WENT TO HOLLISTER HILLS LAST WEEKEND, AND MY H2 WAS UNSTOPABLE, IT COULD CREEP SLOWLY OVER THE ROUGHEST TERRAIN AND ON THE REAL STEEP HILL CLIMBS WITH SOFT DIRT, ALL I HAD TO DO IS PUT THE THROTTLE DOWN AND HOLD ON! I HAVEN'T TRIED OUT MY AIRLOCKER YET, BECAUSE WAS JUST INSTALLED, BUT SHOULD BE ABLE TO TRY IT OUT NEXT WEEK. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND YOU CHANGE YOUR GEARS TO 456'S NOW THAT YOU HAVE THE 37IN TIRES. KERN, I SEND SOME MORE PICTURES NEXT WEEK. I'M THINKING ABOUT GOING TO PISMO BEACH THIS WEEKEND AND TRYING OUT THE POWER ON SOME SAND HILL CLIMBS.
TALK TO YOU LATER.

Angelo,
Why did you change your tires?
I like the "narrow" look...were they giving you handling issues?
Are those AR-767's that you had for rims?

Angelo D.
What engine modification did you do to get 570 HP? I have the magnacharger with headers and exhaust, cold air intake and had a custom computer calibration on the ECU and I'm at around 520 HP. Also will you H2 pass California smog inspection? I was very concerned that any modification done to my H2 must have a CARB exemption number before I would installed it.
I would love to see some updated pictures.

I was going to ask about the gears, I bet the 4:56 did help out a lot. Is there a reason you stopped with the 456 why not a 488 5:13
I had 4:56 with 35's on a grand cherokee and it needed more gear, then again it didnt have a lot of power
You will love the arb air lockers!
