H2NorCal,

The key allows you to turn the torsion bar adjusting bolt further, which may result in a harsher ride.

A lot of these keys are Fords keys, allowing more height adjustment than GM keys.

I am just as interested as you. I called them to see what it consisted of and that is what they said. I can not tell you about the ride as I am still considering this. I know the owner of N-FAB and he sells the steps to VPO. I never asked about the coil spring version as I have the Air Suspension.

Black H2 Adventure Series+ all other options.

A friend of mine tweaked the torsion bars on his Z71. While it gave a few inches of lift and LOOKED good, it ruined the ride.

Another disadvantage is that it will wear out steering components and the CV's because of the more extreme angles placed on them.

You also lose suspension travel when you tweak the bars. For ever inch you crank them up, you lose an inch of downtravel.

I finally got a chance to take some pictures of my new steps for my H2. I love the look of these steps, they bolt to the factory nerf bar and did not require any drilling. I think it give the truck a much better look. I am going to start a new thread on this topic and also took a picture of my friend H2 with similar steps. Check out his paint job.
