Re: got snow?
Well, it did snow in NY actually. A few inches came down. It rained the whole way there as well.
The ICONs did pretty well with the rain. They smeared some rubber on the windshield around where the blades stop. Not sure why that happened. But it came off with a squeegee at the gas station.
The snow performance is questionable. They snow started to gather on the side of the blade, essentially between the windshield and the wiper. I wasn't in the snow long enough to see how much would build up. I dropped out of the pass and it went back to rain. So I'm not sure if it would build up there further or eventually get pushed out. It was very windy, and I was driving about 50MPH, and it still just kept collecting.

Totally agree with you. I lived for many years in NH. Over the last nine years I have been in tropical climates. I would love to go skiing and all the other winter sports. The only problem is I run the heater in my car in the morning to work and it is 70 degrees. Once the temp drops below 70 degrees it might as well be -40. Once I retire I plan on moving back to the snow but for right now I will stick with the areas where I can dive year round without having to drill holes in the ice to do it.

Re: got snow?
An update on the Bosch blades I used over the winter:
I'd have to say that they did well in all conditions. They handled snow, ice, sleet, and rain well.
Streaks: A
-Forget about all those stupid streaks you get right away with conventional wiper blades. It has taken a few months to develop them, and even now there is only about one that really annoys me.
Snow Resistance: A
-Blades refused to clog up under heavy snow or become popsicles.
Rain: A
-Great rain performance. RainX windshield fluid makes them even better.
Wear Life: A-
-They're about 6 months in now, and are still alright, but I have a feeling the metal rods are starting to lose some downforce on the windshield. I suppose this is a good lifetime, but they also are $20/each vs. $8-$10 for conventional blades.
