Add those to my list.
A standard Gobi rack would be nice too

There is a pretty good list started here though. I would add, Bluetooth adaptable phone with an actual keypad hidden somewhere so I can actually punch in the numbers and not be trapped by the voice only module. I would like to bew able to enter in second tier numbers at times....like when punching in for voicemail etc.
I would like a standard rack that had a larger weight capacity.
I wjould like the wheel to fint inside the fender flair for less spray, (still having a sloppy winter, but thats just me.)
I would like a meaner sounding exhaust along with a larger engine..and better gas mileage .
Rock rails or step rail combo with a lot of strength.
computer with more info...miles till empty, avg mpg, etc....GM Caddys have it.
I wish I had a GPS system...I am sure I will add one.
The pedals on the 5 speed are too close each other to be able to wear larger boots without getting them stuck between pedals occasionally.
I would have them carve out more space in the way-back. The sloping walls are not necessary and I wish my golf clube fit lying down back there, They don't and I am not a tall guy at all.
I would also agree with many of the other suggestions others made.
Overall I love it and that is what GM has going for it. The H3 does not have everything everyone wants but they have enough...and we will keep buying it.

Well, The wife and I moved the front seat forward and tested the back seat in the Desert this weekend, there is more room back there than I thought.

Well, this thread goes hand in hand with what I was saying about the Wilderness Package. I guess, for the money, the H3 Adventure package should have all the offroad goodies.
The optional three piece skid protection should be on the Adventure package.
The shock mount skids should be there.
The front locker should be there.
The winch package should be there.
The roof rack should be there.
I'd like the rear fender parts where they meet the rear door to not collect earth as if it were designed to do so by NASA.
If they're not going to upgrade the power, I'd like a shift down button. Our Element had one, it was awesome. If you're going into a corner, or hitting a rise in the road, shifting the whole stick is nowhere near as convenient as hitting the side button on the shifter. In a moderately underpowered vehicle, this is an awesome feature that I really miss. Don't get me wrong, the Element was nowhere near the vehicle as the H3, but that one feature was killer!
I like the seat idea that the Element had. You flip the whole seat up off the floor, and you gotcherself megaroom. I'm not sure how the H3 guys could pull it off but I could give a rat's patootie if the back seats are anything more than a short term ride for people. Maybe an option would be for a minimalist rear seat that you could take out if you wanted?
I'd like a more functional console. The H3's is second only to our Mini Cooper on uselessness. You like big gulps? Fagettabout it. Wanna toss the change somewhere, nah. Sunglasses, uh-uh. Wanna shift into lower gears with anything in the front cup holder? Nope, ain't gonna happen. I'm not sure how I'd build it, but what's there just isn't very useable. Maybe an overhead console? I still haven't figured out where to mount my Kenwood ham radio. More nooks and crannies for junk anywhere and everywhere would be nice. The back's storage is great!
I miss the volume/station controls on the steering wheel, my fault on that one.
Functional mud flaps would be nice. Seriously, even the optional ones don't cut it.
I'd like the oil change to be easier. Keeripes. (you guys that have done it yourself know what I mean) I've worked on machinery my whole life and have always wondered WHY they don't make the engineers that they hire to design vehicles do a stint at the dealership's service department as an apprentice wrench. (nahhhhhh, that'd make too much sense, eh!?)
The brake pedal is too close to the gas pedal. Skechers are a tight fit. Pointy toed cowboy boots were probably what the design guys wore (or they were women with small feet)
Two position control memory. On our Denali, this is outstanding. My wife drives, the Denali knows. I drive, it all moves and changes for me.
Here's a big one, a telescoping steering wheel. I drive with the seat all the way back. I have to drive straight armed all the time. If I'm offroad or in the twisties, this gets uncomfortable very quickly. On the freeway, it's no problem, I drop the wheel down in my lap and rest my hands on the bottom.
Like everyone else, I think the H3 could use about 40 more hp. The thing's heavy. I think I'd wet myself for a six cylinder baby Dmax! I have the big one in our Sierra and it is amazing.
I'd like a fuel tank that's about five gallon's larger. Right now, I have to fill up every three days, I'd like it to be four, that'd get me through my work week.
I agree with everyone else on the heated mirrors. The mirrors on the H3 are extremely critical since you can't see out of the back window very well. Heck, take the rear window defroster OFF of the rear window and stick 'em in the mirrors!
An aux jack for the ipod'd be great. (is that so hard?)
An HID light option. I adjusted my headlights up a turn and a half (I'm thinking from the factory, they're adjusted with the vehicle level and as we all know, the H3 does NOT sit level) and they're adequate but I'm betting that many of us would love, from the factory, to have upgraded lighting, especially for offroading on the Adventure package.
The left foot positioning is horrible on a long trip. Foot underneath, foot crammed against the firewall, not a good compromise. I'm gonna make one out of wood, carpet it, and velcro it in place, I'll let you know how it turns out. I've had more than one other vehicle that addressed this ergonomic nightmare with a dummy pedal against the firewall. Just makes sense.
Stronger wiper motors. Even a little build up of snow causes them to shut down. This is dangerous. I don't know what it takes but think about it, a lot of snow country people like me have to contend with this all winter long. Having your wipers shut down on you is a big problem!
Lastly, I'd like the license plate mount to be on the rear tire. I've tweaked the snot out of my stock one a few times. I'm going to start taking it off and zip-tying it to my spare, it's just better up there out of the way.
That all said and done, I still love the H3. There's so much that's RIGHT about it. It's a keeper. If they add the above stuff, I'm tradin' in tomorrow!

1. Supercharged 6 cyl OR Turbo 6 cyl
2. Fold down brush guard(like the H1)
3. Smaller roof marker lights and add marker lights to the back roof.(like the H1/H2)
4. MUTH style Heated mirrors(GM you blew it)
5. Drivers side window controls(relocate)
6. Back up sensor OR rear view camera
7. Bigger gas tank (wtf, with 12-14 mpg average I would like to go farther with less stops)
8. [ O ]H[]U[]M[]M[]E[]R[ O ] letters on the chrome grill (like the H2)
9. Desert tan color option(like the H1/H2)
10.Four independant coil spring suspension!!!(like H1)
I hope,(really) hope that someone from GM at least takes a look at this post and gives this food for thought. There are some good and great suggestions on this post. Want to know how to improve on the H3? Ask a H3 owner. (The coffee is brewing GM, Wake up and smell it.)
Thats just my 2 pennies.

All of the above stuff plus....
My Chevy Tall-Hoe didn't just tell you that you had a low tire, it told you which one. It had a more detailed digital information center, including MPG and range to next fill up.
But, I gotta say.... I loves my H3.

I have emailed the people at AMSTAR twice requesting information on the products listed above. So far I've had ZERO joy on this.
I would start purchasing these items today if I could find them offered. This is the way the Adventure should have been. I can only hope that in a few years when my lease is up the Wilderness Pkg will be available (maybe as a H3 Alpha) with all these items and a lift (2 to 4") direct from the factory. If they do, it'll be a done deal.
