Ok, Ok
as to the original question.. All Chimes, Seatbelt, keys, door are generated by the radio. only way to disable them is remove the radio.

Sport!! Are u serious?
I wanted to stay out of these rediculous arguments, but I guess I got dragged in. First off, what is it that prevents "know it alls" like yourself from letting people have a discussion, without putting your two cents in? The subject was about the chime, not seat belt use.
As far as relating seat belt use to DUI, your an idiot, there is no comparison!! Stupid, well being stupid is trying to make an equivalent of the two for lack of an argument. How often are accidents caused by non-use, or an un-occupied vehicle hurting someone. The lack of seat belt is never the cause of the accident, like drinking or other impairments. I don't know, but I know it is not very high, if even an issue. Running the yellow light, rolling a stop sighn, exceeding speed limits, driving while tired(yes, this is against the law, although rarely enforced), window tint to dark, etc, how many of these things do you do? Again, not really a good comparison, but how many times a day do you break the law?? There is a reason that a seat belt ticket is only $25-50 bucks, and carries no points. In my state , they can't even stop you for it, it has to be a secondary ticket. Why, because it is not a law that should criminalize people. Lets hear your argument relating seat belt non use to murder, rape, drug use, etc. Come on, I know you have it in you!!! Get a life, and stay on subject on these posts. No one gives a **** about either one of our opinions, so we should really keep them to ourselves.
Now the Sport comment, go **** yourself. It is easy to be bold and obnoxious online, isn't it? But just like the anonymous key scratch on our vehicles, or the finger from a passing vehicle, the person always is out of reach. With that said, keep your insults and smart ass comments off these posts. I refrained from falling into this trap, but apparently some of you can't help yourselves. It is easy to talk **** from miles away, right??

It goes through the radio, but it starts at the BCM...Its simpler than removing the radio, but you wont find any good tech that will do the job. Also -- that is the same system that decides whether or not your airbags go off. You can imagine what airbags do to you if you're not buckled...

You are participating freely or is my bold and obnoxious online self anonymously IN reach and forcing you to respond.
Sport, (is that an insult?) never did I say that DUI and seatbelt non-compliance were equilavent. I said they were both breaking the law. The point you so succinctly missed is that you, my ignorant tool, fail to realize that a line must be drawn somewhere and I simply asked where do you draw said line. I could have used any driving infraction to do so but could make an additional point by using DUI. Sorry, it all seems to be too much for you to comprehend.
Exactly what is all of this billy bad-ass talk about? Have I threatened you or been "bold and obnoxious" or "talked ****" to you. REALLY????? If you truly think so, then you are one fragile little flower.
And don't try to be the forum police, you haven't been here long enough.

Only idiots like yourself are dumb enough to underestimate people they dont know. But since you decided to go there, I am sure you are a little man that doesn't have the sense to debate people without getting personal. At some point, certain people just can't discuss things rationally. As far as the sport comment, if you dont see how condescending it is , then you truly are a ****ing idiot. Not being around long enough to respond to a post, **** you again. Listen prick, if you want to keep this going, then by all means I will. Or you can shut up, and be a man, but like I said, I am sure you are a little person who never was picked for the team, if you know what I mean. I am not the forum police, I just was answering a posters question, when you decided to preach to all of us.

As far as the condescending comment, if you take it that way, apparently you have your own issues to deal with being low class and inadequate.
Let's ponder this from your recent encounter with the keyboard. Exactly how does one get personal with people they don't know?
"Not being around long enough to respond to a post, **** you again." Now, that really takes the cake there. Surely you jest. You can't possibly have us believe that you can be that dumb. You really think that I wasn't referring to how long you have been a member of this forum? I mean, of course you knew that I was referring to the fact that you were trying to police how one is supposed to post on this forum and you've only been a member for a few months without much contribution during that time.
And can you please, please qualify your next post for me. Like "But since you decided to go there," or "I wanted to stay out of these rediculous arguments" or "I guess I got dragged in"

How do you get personal? Well lets see, calling one stupid, Low class, sharp as a brick, I think that would be personal. You don't have a clue about the people you are relating to, but you feel you can insult them. As for me, I refrained from using childish names, and kept on subject. Every one of your posts is an attempt to degraid or insult me because you could not argue your way out of your stupid postings. I think it is clear that you were the little man that always got picked on. The internet was such a gift to ****ing lossers like you. Now all the geeks of the world can talk **** to people and not be held responsible. What a pathetic piece of ****. How many forums do you belong to? How much time do you spend online? Get a life. I bet your wife, assuming you have one, is a real charmmer. It's OK, you have your internet. Look in the mirror, and say "damm it, I am somebody." By the way, if you ever find yourself out in Va Bch, we should continue this conversation in person, you can even bring your keyboard. I can't promise you that you will be able to use it, since it will be up your ass when you leave.

Wow.. I am so sad to see this degenerate into what it has, but from my point of view, Froggy is the one who has handled himself with class in this argument, and he has had others keep dragging him down by absurd statements such as equating DUIs to not wearing seat belts (sorry, I read the post twice, and that's what it clearly says).
If my not wearing a seat belt is going to kill someone else in the car, then of course I would wear it. But it's a personal choice.
I agree Froggy -- in almost all states, it is a more significant fine for speeding or failing to come to a complete stop at a red light before turning right when no traffic is coming (I actually know someone who got a $300+ fine and a day in traffic school for doing just this) than it is to not wear a seat belt. So in other words, those who have never sinned can cast the first stone in this case. I think just about everyone, at some point, has not worn a seat belt or gone at least 1 MPH over the speed limit, so please drop the high-and-mighty stance that is so incredibly irritating.
Thanks, Froggy and a few others, for actually answering my question!

Class??????????? If the use of foul language gets his point across - then I guess maybe he does, but that's not class in my book! You didn't want an argument at the dealership with a salesman face-to-face, but you sure started one here...
I think if you feel you have had your question answered then you can quit posting...

H3Witch -- in my opinion, he did what I find happens to me on these insane Internet boards from time to time. You start out answering with class (look at his initial post -- he was simply replying to my question, unlike all the people who tried preaching to me about something that should have been on another topic), and you get so frustrated that the profanity, etc. follows. Perfectly logical. When you're dealing with illogical people who seem to only be here for an argument, you're going to lose your cool.
Froggy has answered my question and tried to keep the thread on topic. H3Witch, on the other hand, all you have done is preach and criticize, but have not given me any kind of answer. So Froggy's posts are of far more benefit, in my opinion.

Thanks H17. H3Witch, you are absolutely right. Lowering myself to the point where I responded to personal attacks with profanity is definately stepping backwards. When arguments deteriorate to that point, most people stop reading them. On the other hand, when someone hides behind there keyboard and thinks they can call people stupid, low class, etc., well, you have to respond. I learned a long time ago to never underestimate, or assume to know the quality or abilty, of others. It is a sure fire way to get yourself in a bad situation, embarassed, or worse. People who do that are usually very predictable, and I think if you read the posts, you can see what I mean. It is frustrating, because you know that most of these people would never say these things to others if they had to do it in person, but it is safe to do it online. With that said, no more profanity and I will be the bigger man and stop responding to such childish posts. No more "ear muffs."

It's quite obvious that you are projecting your previous life experiences on to me in an attempt to somehow insult me or madden me. This little person syndrome you have has now continued through several posts is the most self-evident thing you have posted.
Now that I have poked and prodded you because of some stupid comments, let me bring something to your attention. You stated early in the thread, "I really find it offensive to see people preaching to adults." What in the hell makes you think H17 is an adult? If you can't comprehend his dumbass reason as to WHY he wants to do and see through that then you need to forego dispensing any advice.

Oh, trust me, H17 is an adult. I was just doing a parody off the names of H1, H2, H3, etc... I figured H17 would be the one I could easily afford. :-) Just a little misguided humor. But an adult? Yes, definitely.. I don't know if there's many 17-year-olds who can afford an H3, to be honest. I know I couldn't have back then!

Do one better. Klaus is probably one of the most respected long time members of this forum. He met me in person one weekend. PM him and ask him what type of person I am. Ask him if I am a "little man."
You are just a dumb hypocrite spouting about underestimations and then making veiled attempts at threats against someone you know nothing about.

Paragon, you truly are a grade-A you-know-what. Hey, I haven't looked for a fight, I just tried to get a question answered on this forum. As a middle-aged man with a life, I don't need this garbage.
Paragon, you are completely out of line on this board -- judging by your 6000+ posts, I'm guessing this forum is your entire life. Pretty sad. But then again, I guess if I lived in Jackson, Mississippi, I'd be a bitter person too!!

OK let me get this straight, some guy, asks about how to disable his seatbelt alarm. Which can, and I say can, be equal to asking how to remove a safety feature on a gun- because the distraction might hurt your aim, therefore actually protecting bystanders. Long shot but you get the point.
Bender, First hummer and H3witch all said wear the seatbelt in one way or another. Frog licker says, "hey, he asked about the chime", kind of abruptly, probably defending himself because he thought it bad of himself not to think of anothers safety. Paragon says the same, wear the belt, and frog ****er gets pissed at him and posts a long personal attack. Paragon rebuts- only right and totally Paragon. Then H17 the teenaged rebel joins in because he is not wearing his seatbelt "so yeah, I'm not a bad person. You're not the boss of me." Or he is pleasingly plump and can't fit in it.(extension)whatever, frog hump is sticking up for him so why not.
Really now who attacked who?
Frog, as a surgical tech I can personally say that there is a big difference in victims who have worn a seatbelt those who haven't. I would post pics but I won't.

As far as the Frog ****, and froghump comment, Co-pilot, go **** another dude so you can drive his car. A surgical nurse, big ****ing deal.I am sure I have seen more trauma **** than you can imagine, so save your bs. Had to jump in and start it up again. as far as a safety on a gun, another ****ty comparrison, but obviously, H2co-slut, you and Paradick are buddies.

Co-pilot, you summed it up well. But then Froggy comes back, surprise, surprise.
Only, what I am sure he does not realize is, that he just further validates what you and Paragon have been saying all along.
Froggy, do you see that yet???? Didn't think so.
