Re: Pics of Carey's H1 with PJ Dirt Grips.
How did the PJ's hold up? 37's or 38's? How did they do in the snow on the road?

Re: Pics of Carey's H1 with PJ Dirt Grips.
Tim, I always thought and still think PJ's are bitching tires. I had the 37's on my 98 and they were awesome. They were REALLY well behaved on the road, and great in the snow. Slippery roads were really not a problem, but you do have to be light on the throttle starting out at low speeds, probably because of the H1's gearing though. These days I have a set of swamper SSR's and I miss the PJ's. The SSR's dont wear for sh!t, they dont balance at all, dont ride nearly as well as PJ's, and are down right f'ing scary on wet rainy roads.

Re: Pics of Carey's H1 with PJ Dirt Grips.
Oh and I forgot. I got 30,000 miles out of my PJ's, they were still on the truck when I sold it and did have some life left in them.

Re: Pics of Carey's H1 with PJ Dirt Grips.
I DO NOT miss that truck. I did like the color combo, and the open top was kick ass during the summer. But, it was ALWAYS something with that truck. In the two years that I owned it and the 30,000 miles that I put in it I never had anything major fail on it, but I still managed to spend 8400.00 dollars trying to bring it up to par. And still was nowhere near the end.
